Kate is going to be at a Bible Book store near me one day this week! I am going to stop in and see her. I will, however, NOT pay for an autograph!

not sure. a big mall somewhere near the Zondervan HQ. I read about it on both of the pity blogs. They each had their own "eyewitness" account. It was actually pretty funny reading how 2 different people described the event. It was almost as if they attended separate signings.

I think she was at Rivertown Crossing mall. It's in Grandville and I think that is near where Zondervan is headquartered.

OK, I'm ready for tonight's episode. Isn't it "The Gosselins give back" or something? I'm thinking that I won't be all that excited about this one...which is good, I need to clean my apartment....

Ok, I'm watching it right now. My first question is I doubt that J and K paid for the hotel, flight themselves or any of the toys....It is a nice thing that they are teaching the kids.... Nice to see they still talk to Ms. Beverly.....

I found the comment Kate just made interesting that the kids are not allowed to have stuffed animals in their beds...What kid does not have a stuffed animal in his/her bed. Sometimes she puzzles me...!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought she meant in th hospital they couldn't have stuffed animals

She was saying that St Jude's doesn't allow stuffed animals. Probably because it cannot be easily disinfected.

Is it just me or are Jon and Kate getting boring in the interview chair? I guess their spats made it more interesting.

Is it just me or are Jon and Kate getting boring in the interview chair?

they were very low key tonight, in the interview chair. Jon didn't say much. They had some kind of body language going on, too. I don't think it means anything, in the grand scheme of things .. but, usually Jon & Kate are touching when they sit on the chair, the smacking (playful or otherwise) and tonight they just seemed disconnected. It could have just been the overall tone of the interview, which was appropriate, given the subject of the show.

Usually Kate sits on the right and tonight she's on the left, that threw me. LOL.

the one little girl seemed very happy to be getting it - the one with the name on the hat.

Did anyone besides me notice Kate's eyes? Her left eye looked normal but her right eye looked like it had no makeup and puffy (it was mostly hidden under her hair).

I knew those episodes were coming up since the ones they showed this past Monday were from mid-May and I think he died in June. Those episodes are going to be so sad. It was so unexpected when he died.

Kate explained about the last couple of Christmas's and at first I thought their family wasn't going to celebrate Christmas this year. When one of the little girls was crying because she wanted Elmo, I heard Kate say, "put it on your Christmas List". But it was nice that she gave in. She did say, the kids understood that they were picking out gifts for the sick children. I bet the boys got to keep the truck they tried ripping out of the package.

I think Mike was on Little People, Big World. There was a post about their show a few days ago. I don't watch LPBW too often. So I don't really know.

I liked tonight's episode. I thought Alexis was really cute when she was on the screen. I thought it was a great thing for Jon and Kate to do. I'm glad that they are trying to bring awareness to this great cause. I thought they both sounded very genuine. Though it sounded like Kate was losing her voice. That might be why she was a bit more low key than in other episodes.
