Have I missed something ... where is Cammie (Camster0307)? I haven't seen her posting on this thread in a couple of weeks? I always look forward to her take on things, and realized today I hadn't seen any recent posts.

She was at WDW, I met her. When she got home her computer had a virus and it took awhile for her to get it cleaned up.
She will probably be back when things settle down.

And, yes, I did have the honor of meeting our thread's author while at WDW a few weeks ago - hi Marisa!

I've just been lurking for the past few weeks because I'm so far behind: missed a few episodes because of our trip; then was computer-less for a week. Now holiday preparations seem to be getting in the way of my DIS-ing!

There are some episodes I still haven't seen but we just did watch this week's episode last night. And, I agree with PPs, that was a loud, whiny episode! We still really get a kick out of the sextuplets, and enjoy anytime they are on (am also very thankful they print out what they are saying on the screen) but that show left me really wondering -- how much longer can they do this? With all the kids being older, and so vocal, I would imagine that any show focusing on their home life is going to sound pretty much the way it did in Monday's episode. And it would not be enjoyable to tune in to THAT week after week.

I know some were questioning the use of highchairs still and I guess I'm wondering if Jon & Kate are just keeping them until the move. Why buy six new kitchen chairs just to move them to a new house? Just a guess. Personally, I cringed more when the bibs came out. What is up with that? I'm sure Kate will justify using them because she doesn't want to deal with the laundry if they make a mess, but at some point, the kids need to take responsibility for eating neatly. When? Were they wearing bibs on the episodes in San Diego and Hawaii?

Ok - that's my $.02 on what's been going on lately.

Ok, so I know about this family and I like to watch the show if I find that it's on. But now I'm REALLY interested....I found out that they live just a few miles from us (maybe 6-10). They must shop everyplace I do. Although I realize that they are probably gone more than home lately.

Very neat. I must say that is part of what I like about the show. I grew up in Lancaster, and I really enjoyed seeing some of the places from when I was young, it reminded me of great memories. We used to go to Dutch Wonderland, Hershey Park, Park City (the mall that Maddy got her ears pierced at -same mall that I did,) and the Castle (-not sure if that's what it's still called, but that's where Cara went skating at.) I know I'm a dork , but it gave me good memories

Just a note to anyone that watches the full Monday night lineup.

I was on the TLC website looking to see what the upcoming shows were about and they had listed two episodes of Little People Big World dedicated to their friend Mike. One was about him going into the hospital and the other was a memorial type episode. Those are going to be tearjerkers I'm sure

It was great!! We're definitely converted December vacationers!! It rained on Saturday night, but half of our party were at Evergreens to watch the Big 12 (Boomer Sooner!!) and the other half were packing to move to YC, so it didn't bother us.

The Christmas decorations were GREAT, and we had lots of fun at the parade taping. They taped DS (and me) a lot, so we might make it! If not, at least we can say we made it to ABC's cutting room floor. Definitely an extra pinch of pixie dust during the holidays.

Now I'm dying to book the 7 for 4 deal, especially since there are still availabilities at my choice resorts! I'm thinking grown-ups only trip!! Anyone care to join me?

I knew those episodes were coming up since the ones they showed this past Monday were from mid-May and I think he died in June. Those episodes are going to be so sad. It was so unexpected when he died.
