Last night episode(rerun) the G's were celebrating Valentines Day, so cute! I really loved the Valentines pouch/backpack!! Does anyone know where she got them? I would like to get one for my DD, it is just so adorable.

A reminder for everyone . . . the vow renewal episode is going to be on TONIGHT!!! I can't wait! :)

I would say that I forgot, but TLC reminds me in every commercial break. I love watching the show, but I am so sick of hearing "it's a beautiful life..."

What a gorgeous ceremony!! Loved this episode. I'm not one to gush about the show, but it was aesthetically amazing!!

Jon's family reminds me of my dad's side. They're so cute!

OK, now I want to get married on the islands...

How cute were the little kids dancing together. They all looked great. I was glad to see Kate be very relaxed and go with the flow.

Is any one watching the show after JK8? I think they are th anti-Gosslins :lmao: .

I agree, it was a nice episode. Kind of sad there were no family or friends from her side.

I have to say, I have never been a Kate hater like some, or a lover for that matter, but her trying to undo and redo her image as a laid back person, at least in this episode, might be more believable if she would stop saying how much everything was just up to the kids, whereever they wanted to be, whatever they wanted to do, etc. over and over. I haven't watched in a while, but it was obvious she is trying to redo herself into a more positive, less controlling person, at least on camera. I wonder if the viewers will buy it?

I did think she looked pretty and Jon's family was cute. What a beautiful trip they got from the hotel, a trip of a lifetime.

She did say that, but did you notice she told one of the little girls to pick a different polish color?

I think even Kate would have to let go and let God in that situation. There's no way you can get eight kids (or even just six four year olds) to do exactly what you want them to in that kind of scenario. Maybe it was part of her vows to Jon (to be more relaxed, speak gentler, etc.).

I watched the last few minutes of the Gosselin event and the first 10 minutes of the twins, twins, sextuplets bunch.

I'm done with the TLC Monday night lineup. Life Unscripted? Riiight. LOL. As usual, TLC takes a good thing - the little people show, and even JK8 and over expose it. The marathons, adding how many other series shows about multiple families? How many are there now? They did the same thing with Trading Spaces. It was really good, got popular, and then they ran it to death, took away Paige, brought back Paige ... yawn. LOL

It's the holiday season, plenty of other TV to watch. :) I might be back after the first of the year, when the winter doldrums hit. We'll see ;)

Hey, can't blame a girl who knows how to work it!

I always thought I was pretty good at working it, but I don't see anyone giving me free trips to Hawaii or anywhere else ... I guess I'm going to have to depend on that money tree I planted to start growing :lmao:

You and me both! :rotfl:

You gotta just love Jon. Kate is another story. Although she gets under my skin I cant help but to love her too. She's like a car wreck to me that I have to watch. LOL
This is the only show on TV at all that I watch and for some reason it inspires me to do things better. BUT I dont know if its me or what but (I may be speaking out of turn here) they seem to be getting a little more "unreal" I guess. I love the show but I have to say that if it keeps along that vein I will probably quit watching too.
I did watch the next show "twins, twins, & sextuplets" tonight for the first time and I liked it too so I may add that show to my "list". LOL That makes 2 shows a week for me. I better slow down.

my husband and I noticed that too... and looked at each other like

also the part about taking the girls to get pedicures and kate was saying something like "I think we are starting a bad habit here" or something.. lol. I mean, I guess she hasn't done it too much (it was the little girls first real pedicure and the second for the big girls I think she said) but yes, if you get your kids into the habit of getting pedicures and you have 5 girls and a mom, it's going to be pricey if you have to pay out of pocket! what is a pedicure? Like 20 dollars? say they even give them a discount on the little girls to 10... that would still be... 60 for mom and the big girls and then another 30 for the little ones.. so maybe 90 dollars a pop?

anyway.. overall I liked this episode... the kids looked cute, I thought the ceremony was beautiful and jon and kate looked really nice too.. it was sweet how they would throw in clips of their first wedding, although my husband thought it was weird that they had to blurr out some faces in the video. :confused3

I really liked the part where kate asked the kids "what is so special about today?" and mady gave a really cute answer something about how mommy and daddy are celebrating their wedding ....

I do also thinks it's weird how often kate keeps stressing that they are "staying together forever" and they want to let the kids know that. I mean, do the kids think otherwise? do the kids know a lot of other children from divorced families? why do they have to keep stressing that?

I have taken DNiece for a manacure, and although I let her pick her polish I did object to her first color. There is letting them pick a color and telling them what is inappropriate. I think when Kate told her to pick another one, it was because the color wasn't right for a little girl. Think Bright red.

:thumbsup2

you know, I was just thinking... maybe the kids are too little for this.. but I would love to see jon and kate taking their kids on volunteer vacations... if they are going to get free vacations anyway, they might as well go places where they could volunteer to help somehow....help build a house, help research monkeys in the jungle, help serve food to people who need help, working with animals ...etc..etc.

jon and kate get so much help from other people.. it would be really nice to see them give some help out and use their "celebrity" status to highlight some really good organizations that do this sort of work.

like I said, maybe the kids are too little to do this sort of thing yet or maybe they could just take the older girls or find some sort of program for younger kids.

A pedicure at a spa is between $42 and $52 dollars for an adult. It is $20 for a child, that does not include skin exfoliation, only filing the toenails, polishing, and putting cream on their legs. I have paid up to $70 for a spa pedicure. At a resort, the prices are even higher than above which is just at a local salon.

I agree what someone else said about giving back. I do think the little kids are too little, but Jon/Kate are not. It just seems like they really take and then the comment about "coming back soon." Who is paying for that?
