I watched this episode few times and she annoys the heck out of me. I can not watch this show anymore because of the way Kate acts. TV has really gone to her head.

I have the series set to record on my DVR, and it recorded every episode that was part of a Jon & Kate marathon last night (as if they were all new, for some reason ), and the only episode that didn't record was the WDW one! Obviously I happened to turn the TV on when it was on, but I find it so strange that just that one episode didn't record!

I'm always so impressed with this family. I know a lot of people have a hard time with her but if you read her book you have a whole different appreciation for her. This family has been through A LOT!!!!

By the way I believe they stayed 6 days. I think I heard that before.

Hi; I believe the trip was 5 days, and then they went elsewhere in Fl. They went to the beach and to visit family. Funnily enough, Kate realizes that she way overreacted to it; in the marathon last night was a show with favorite and most embarrasing moments, and sure enough, the ice cream inicident was highlighted.

Yeah, the ice cream incident was a little crazy. I mean really...they are kids and Disney really tried to do something special for them by providing them with this princess meet and greet and ice cream. Act appreciative. Further, the WL is not that far away. Take them there and clean them up if it is that big of an issue. I don't advocate children walking around with ice cream all over them but...sometimes you just got to go with the flow.

DH and I always laugh at the show, b/c we have had many moments that are Jon and Kate moments. Espeically when we watch this one. I would be the exact same way!!! I'm funny when it comes to stuff like that. We don't have kids yet, but even when our springer (she is our 3 legged child, not a d-o-g) gets dirty I freak!!! I can't imagine what I will be like when do finally do have kids.

I believe it didn't record, because the title of it is actually Jon and Kate plus 8 Hit the Road.

It doesn't record because it is an hour long and the ACTUAL title is Jon and Kate plus 8 Hit the Road. SO if your tivo is like mine, it will only record the episodes with the exact title you put in.

Can I ask a question about this show? I have never heard of it or seen a single episode of this show until last night. I ended up watching many of the marathon shows and looked up some info about the family online. It looks like they live in PA. Every episode I watched had most of them in shorts and flip flops. Is that just a coincidence or did PA move further south?

They were old summer episodes. They do live in Hershey PA. They are moving or have already moved.

I say it!! I love to watch anything with Disney in it, so even though I have seen it lots of times, I had to watch again. I actually like the show- Kate doesnt annoy me at all.

Poor Jon...

Actually, though, Kate handles herself with MUCH MORE grace and patience than I ever would if I were trying to live the life she has. I know she's blessed 8x, but there's only so many blessings I can tolerate in one lifetime.

My DH gets really irritated by Kate, not realizing the devil I would be if I had the same responsibility she has. I'm not kiddin'...

They have been showing the previews for the next new episode on Monday, and they are announcing they are moving and where to!!!! And OF COURSE... I have to work....errrr if only I could convince DH to get tivo.

I must admit that in the most recent shows Kate has defiantly mellowed. Well the kids are getting older and more self sufficient. The only thing I have to say is yes the ice cream indecent drives me CRAZY. What gets me the worst is when she screeches that Leah is ruined because she has ice cream on her shirt. I mean really! I don't think a dirty shirt ruined any kids.
