Jon and Kate Disney episode right now!

They are from the Hershey/Reading area of PA, but they film the episodes WAY in advance so if you are watching a new episode in winter then they probably filmed in spring or summer...hence all the shorts, etc. We live very close to where they are from (yeah they are rummored to be moving) and that is why I got hooked on the show...we take our kids to all the same places they primarily do...Seasame Place, Hershey Park, Dutch Wonderland, etc. Love the show...Kate does get on DHs nerves, but that is what make it so interesting I think she really is like that not just on TV...DHs friend is a Nurse and she knows other nurses who knew her from Reading and she is pretty much like you see...I like her "personality". She is like my alter ego...heeee

Did you guys see the Christmas special where they went to St. Judes? I know that a lot of people had a problem with that episode but I thought it was really great....I bet St. Jude's got a lot more donations this Christmas because of that episode.

Kate is a bit high strung for me, and sometimes it seems like she treats Jon as one of the children, but then when I think about it more.....If I had eight kids and a husband I think I would act the same exact way.

I know the first time we went to Disney my kids had brand new clothes for the trip and I was very cautious about them eating certain things...well FIL and MIL show up to enjoy the trip with us one day and DD wanted DH, myself, and MIL to ride TOT with her..FIL stayed with our other DD. We get off the ride and I spot the baby (a mile away it seemed) with chocolate ice cream all down the front of her shirt and I could feel myself losing it in a real hurry....Instead of melting down I laughed and took a picture because that picture of her and her grandfather will mean more to both of us than the chocolate stained shirt. (I never got the stains out of that shirt either.. )

Their book is great and it explains so much. You really do get much more of an understanding of everything they have been through and how much they love each other. She is very honest that yes this is what she is like and that she has actaully gotten much better than she used to be with messes ,germs etc...
You really feel for what this couple went through while she was pregnant and the first year of the babies' lives.
I can't imagine doing what she had to do and I give them so much credit for getting through it all and doing so well.

I just love the show & honestly Jon can be just as rude to Kate at times. It seems like a normal marriage to me. I wonder what other people would think of us if our families were taped? No thanks.

they moved to a much larger home in Berks County, PA late last year.
