I agree, the most disheartening thing is that the children have to go through all of this. And the 'cheating rumors' aside, I think a lot of their troubles are from the show, fans, and paparazzi.

Nah, I don't think its a dog because they already have 2 I think. I'm 98% sure its a separation with intention of a divorce.

Supposedly, they were in counseling. From what I read, Jon was into trying to repair the marriage while Kate wasn't into doing that.

I'm hoping it's a we're sticking together but I doubt that's what it'll be.

It's really unfortunate that they couldn't have tried to work things out, at least for the kids' sakes. And it is obvious that they loved each other at one time, and maybe they still do. It just seems like they've deemed their relationship a lost cause. Maybe it's too late for counseling. Who really knows how each of them are really feeling? We'll probably never know.

I just feel so bad for those kids. They don't deserve what they are being put through. It's just a sad situation.

Can't say I didn't see it coming. Kate has become a wicked, wicked witch since the 6 have been born, and Jon wants to have his cake and eat it too when it comes to his famous-ness. (? if that's a word)
Kate has too much ambition and is a (BLEEP), while Jon is a passive aggressive nun-chuck.

I didn't watch the show, but from what I saw on the J&K+8 thread on the community board, they are, in fact, getting divorced. So sad for the kids
