anyone remember this thing?

do you think that Disney will bring it back anytime soon.

Do you mean the Jolly Holidays dinner show? We took the kids to it when they were little. I doubt they'll bring it back anytime soon. It's been gone for a long time.

We loved Jolly Holidays. It was a lot of fun at the Comtemporary ballroom. It was a great party!! I doubt they will bring it back The dancing reindeers and such are now part of MVMCP :santa:

I remember it - we did it a couple years before it ended. It's a VERY hokey (even for Disney) dinner show - I wasn't interested in repeating it. I doubt they'll ever bring it back.

We went Dec. 1993....recently found my ticket stubs from that show. It was great. My dd couldn't believe how expensive that was BACK THEN. She was 3 at the time and our son was 10 weeks old.:goodvibes

We went twice when the children were younger. We really enjoyed getting all dressed up and going to the ballroom to see a fun christmas dinner show.

Us too....I still remember what I wore and our dd. LOL

Back in '94 Disney had a Jolly Holiday travel package.

We spent 5 nights at the Contemporary with Park Hoppers and went to the Jolly Holidays Dinner Show for less than $900 for me and Dh.

That was an incredible price even for '94.

We spent the next several years waiting for the same deal to come along. We finally gave up and paid more than DOUBLE that to go back in '02. We must have liked the '02 trip. We went in '05, bought DVC in '06 and went in '07 & '08.

The show wasn't that great but we really enjoyed Christmas at Disney and staying at the Contemporary.

I went the last 2 years they had it. I got the package for it at WL. It cost me about what the All Stars was then. I enjoyed the show. I got the bad seats both times. I bought my tickets early and was put to the far side. I found out others with great seats bought 2 days before. Handled badly by Disney. Then they stopped it.

We went in 94 on our first trip to WDW. DS was 3 and fell asleep half way through it. (Made the mistake of going on the first day of our trip). It was kind of silly, but DH and I enjoyed it. We also liked getting dressed up and going to the Contemporary. They probably won't bring it back, but I think we would go if they did.

well loved and hated it - saw it 3 years - first time just me and mother, next year took my brother and his family - then came back the finally year.

yes the prices were great.

you could stay at the CR for about half the price with the ticket than w/o the ticket. the Polyn worked the same way.

We did the pkg and stayed at GF. My kids loved the show (well at least the 2 that were born back then).
