Joining Landry's Select

So we are leaving for WDW in 3 days. I know if I join Landry's select club there is no way I'd get the card in time, but would I be emailed a membership number or something I could use when we are there next week?

nevermind, I found the answer online:

Your membership card should arrive in 2-3 weeks. Prior to receiving your Landry’s Select Card, please give us three business days to create your account. After your account is created you will be able to start earning points and redeeming rewards.

EARNING POINTS: After three business days you can earn points by giving the telephone number you provided during registration to your server. If you are visiting sooner than three business days, please keep your receipt and forwarded to us for a points adjustment.

REDEEMING REWARDS: After three business days you will be able to redeem your $25 Welcome Reward by providing your phone number and showing valid identification.

Not sure but over in the budget board there was a discussion about how you couldn't use a gift card in combination with the Birthday $25 or the Landry's club select welcome $25. Bummer if that's the case.

I was going to do that, but my birthday is this month as well. I (obviously) don't have my Landry's card yet but I do have an account set up with $50 in it already and it only cost me $25. It was better for us over the vouchers.

That's news to me. I always use gift cards with the Landry's club card and rewards. No problem.

This has been our experience, as well. Wasn't a problem to use rewards and gift card.

Ditto. And I already purchased a gift card to use with my birthday reward so I hope it hasn't changed.

You can purchase Landry's gift cards online at Target. So you can do the same discount thing that others do with Disney cards: buy Target card on Raise and then use that card to buy Landry's on Target with 5% red card discount.
