Joining Hertz free club?

I already have a really good rate, (or at least I think so) for my rental with Hertz for next month. 8/17-8/26, full size, $240.00. Do you know if there would be any additional savings that I might could acquire if I join the free membership program? We won't be renting any more vehicles any time soon, but I was just wondering if I might could somehow save a few more bucks for this rental?

If you have access to Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, you can save yourself some time. You will not need to wait at the counter, your car will be preassigned and ready to go. In fact, they will send to your smart phone what kind of car and where it is located.

If you do not like the particular car Hertz has preassigned, you can switch it out with one from their Gold Choice area. No additional charge if you choose from the same car class. For example, minivan for a minivan.
