Sounds like they had a history/habit of assaulting one another.
Not the healthiest relationship. Lol.

(Editted: I may have originally gotten it backwards. I do remember ONE of them admitting there was violence by both parties.)

I *think* I remember Johnny saying and admitting in a public statement, after Amber posted pics of bruising she had, that there was violence by BOTH of them and that their relationship was tumultuous. Hence, the divorce. So, he's said this before.

I believe I read somewhere that she was arrested for domestic abuse against a previous girlfriend. I am not surprised. I believe it was a mutually abusive relationship, but the media just ran with his part of it. I'm glad they are divorced. I hope they both get the help they need.

Depp really missed the boat when he let Charlotte Gainsbourg get away.... She is more stable than anyone else he has been with. The song lyrics match this video and Depp specifically amazingly well.

it turns out her bruises where inflicted in June 2016 when Johnny Depp was out of the country for two weeks. considering her friend Amanda De Cadet and her entire legal team have quit it does not look good for her. She should be sacked from the Aquaman movies like Johnny Depp was for this false accusation

There's way too much conviction by popular media these days. What happened to 'innocent until proven guilty'?

Full, honest opinion:

Johnny Depp was always a troubled person. Everyone seems to have forgotten his infamous drunken tirades in the 90s. He and Kate Moss tore up hotel rooms (he was even arrested over it once.) He has admitted to self-mutilation. He has battled drug addiction and alcoholism. Many people, including his FRIENDS, have stated that he has a very, very bad temper. So do I believe that he was abusing her? Yes, I do.

Does that excuse Heard? Absolutely not. Do I think she was abusing him? Yep, I sure do.

I don't think this game of trying to make one or the other culpable is appropriate or necessary. Neither is more responsible than the other. They're both unstable, violent people who were abusing each other.

The media is about 95% wrong as we have all learned in this time of pandemic and racial inequities.
Tough to know where to get accurate and not tabloid news.
