What do you mean he is really there? Of course he is. I saw him on PTC last visit.

I saw him three times...once near the well...once peeking out of a barrel...and once siting on a big chair surrounded with booty! Might have been my imagination though!

I can stop this rumor right now by telling you its impossible he will be there as he is currently locked in my closet as my love slave. I do love a dirty pirate! If he is a good boy between now and Thanksgiving I may take him along on our trip.

But have you ever seen Johnny Deep in costume in person to compare him to the ones in the parks?

Some times when people see real people in person they are like no way you are "that" person "that" person is so much taller, prettier, thinner, etc.

Its like I have stories where someone like Deep competes in a Jack Sparrow Costume Contest and loses because the other guy does a better Sparrow than Deep does.

I think Johnny Deep could pull off playing Johnny Deep playing Jack Sparrow at WDW. (think about it)

Who is Johnny Deep? Did he play Capt. Jack in the underwater scenes in the first POC?

A mysterious smoking spot has appeared backstage in the Magic Kingdom that has not been around since Disney World hosted the premiere for one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and Johnny Depp specially requested this area... This smoking spot has sparked the rumor that if Jack Sparrow is wearing a hat during the parade that he is in fact Johnny Depp. No hat means a doppelganger.

Our Sept 30th Jack had no hat and certainly did not look like Johnny Depp:

A little birdie has also told me that he will be replacing the Jack Sparrow at the end of the POTC ride.

A quick google search revealed he was on set for a movie overseas on that date, completd with pictures. I'm sure when this next party passes you can probably find him still on set for that movie, I think it was in England.

Don't worry, I'm sure he will fly in the day of the event .
It sounds like a great way for Disney to get some more people to buy the over priced party tickets to me.

Believers will believe...non-believers will not believe, as with any topic on this board...but for what it's worth, my daughter, a CM, was at a MNSSHP parade last year, and thought the Jack Sparrow on the float looked remarkably like Johnny Depp. We had been with her at a parade the previous year and remarked how much the CM on the float did NOT look like Johnny Depp. She thought nothing more about it until she heard other CMs saying immediately after the parade that it was indeed him - he had been at the park that day and was on the float for the second parade. If I remember correctly she just has a distant blurred picture, because she was not expecting it to be JD, and she had taken pictures before, so no need for more. But I will check and see if she has a close up.

a friend of mine was just there and just posted her pictures. the Jack in the parade was wearing a hat. and it was most definitely NOT Johnny Depp.

when i see a picture that is obviously Johnny Depp, i will believe. until then, i won't. sorry. i've seen a lot of Jacks that other people swear looks JUST LIKE Johnny and i don't think they look like him at all. and the one Jack i've seen that ACTED just like Johnny didn't look like him at all.
