Johnny Depp in The Libertine

Has anyone seen this film? I love Johnny Depp but don't know if I could cope with seeing him play this rather dodgy character after seeing him play Captain Jack and Willy Wonka. I am sure he will play the part fantastically well, being such an amazing actor, but I don't know if I want to see him in such a sleazy role!

I know what you mean, I loved him Pirates of the Caribbean, but I just couldn't bring myself to go and see him in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory due to that dreadful haircut (it put me right off )

Actually he was really outstanding as Willy Wonka ...and in some really sad and bizarre way I actually found him attractive WITH that haircut!

Hmmmm i just watched the trailer and I don't really know what to make out of it, is he supposed to be a pervert or something?

I don't like fancy Johnny like everyone else does nowdays but I thought he was really cute as Edward Scissorhands and Willy Wonka! His characters are better than him and even Willy Wonka dresses better than the real Johnny Depp! Most of the time I think he looks like a tramp!
