We saw John Stamos as the narrarator at the Candlelight Processional.......it was certainly different! I enjoyed the crowds reaction to him from his Full House fame and he is kinda cute BUT I think he really didn't seem to understand his role. Although I enjoyed the " star " factor, I wouldn't pick him again. He just seemed lost up there and a little hyperactive. I hope Gary Sinese comes back next year. he is so much better in my opinon. I found John Stamos too distracting and it took away from the rest of the show...Any one else have any opinions on his performance..Thanks ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

I don't know, but I was sad since I missed "uncle jesse" by one day!!! Boo!! :(

My wife and I sat right next to John Stamos and his GF at the time in 1995 at Indiana Jones in MGM.

He had a hat pulled down, he saw we recognized him and smiled. I just said, dont worry, you are safe with us and he said thanks. We chatted a little about sports and things in the pregame, nothing regarding his "stardom". He seemed to be a realley nice guy. After the show he shook my hand and said nice meeting you, and off he went.

I agree...he didn't seem to know quite what to do up there. He looked like he wanted to conduct (at least the cymbals!), he started to sing at one point, then I guess he decided maybe that wasn't a good idea. He seemed a little lost.

Then, about halfway through the show, I think the cold weather got to him...he sort of stumbled his way through the last 2 or 3 passages.

Thank goodness I really wasn't there for the reading, as much as I was for the music...which did NOT disappoint! I do, however, wish that Gary Sinise had been there...I doubt he would have been as spasmotic.

We saw John Stamos as well, and while he seemed to be having a good time and enjoying the music, I agree with the OP that he did seem to stumble a bit. Despite this, we loved the CP (the music was beautiful!) and would definitely do this again.

We saw Ertha Kit on Sunday, Dec. 11th. I thought she was good. It was my first time seeing the Candlelight Processional and really enjoyed it.

We've seen Gary Sinese for the past 3 years. So I was pretty bummed when I found out he wasn't narrating this year. We decided to go on Christmas Eve w/ Jim Caviezel. I'm really glad we did. Forgive the pun, but...He was so passionate in his reciting that it almost made me cry. I was also amazed w/ the lines! :earseek: In the past three years of seeing Gary Sinese either on Xmas or Xmas Eve, I've never seen the lines so crazy. Even the dinner package line was HUGE! But then the weather this year was really good too!

Not entirely surprised John S. was there, I do remember from the Rosie show days, that he and his ex wife Rebecca Romain Stamos are huge WDW fans, and went often.

I have also seen Gary Sinise for the past 3 years and I thought that the excitement that John Stamos brought was really special. Yea, he made a few mistakes but he was like a little kid on their first trip to WDW and that is something rare to see in a grown up. It made me feel like the audience was a part of his family not just someone for him to perform to.

I was there for his last performance. I developed a crush on him when he was on General Hospital. I still have every episode of "You Again?" on tape and I have the soundtrack album to "Dreams." We started our trip a day early so I could see him. I was prepared to LOVE it. I agree that he seemed a little out of place. Kind of like he was hamming it up which wasn't appropriate for the subject matter. It's really too bad he couldn't sing along because you could tell he REALLY wanted to.
