My wife and I watched it last night, and all I can say is Ugh.
I don't think I've ever seen a movie with so much gore. I lost track of how many decapitations, head explosions, limb manglings and guts pouring out in my life.
I don't mind realism in my movies, but talk about going above and beyond what was necessary.
Needless to say we were both very disappointed in this movie. This was nothing like the original movies. This one seemed to be extremely violent just for the sake of being violent.
OK, I can appreciate the fact that Rambo finally accepts what he is, but he comes across as a very unlikable character. In fact most of the characters were unlikable.
Anyway, that is my rant for the day. If you haven't seen this movie, and you're debating about whether or not to see it, my opinion is that it is better left unseen.
