You're doing great! I'm sure you'll earn back those beloved clippies in no time!

I didn't realize there are so many Pennsylvanians here - I'm in Lancaster County (the northwest end).

Have a wonderful and relaxing time at the shore and good luck with your eating choices while there!

We spent the Holiday weekend at the shore. I had my planned cheats [bye bye cheat free star]. I had corn on the cob for dinner an evening as well as a couple mixed drinks during the weekend. I had a good time and felt that I controlled my 'cheats' well considering that this was my first week back on plan. I'm back up to where I started last week but I'm going to be working very hard at getting that number to move. I'm so committed again and it feels TERRIFIC!:D

9:30am - Chicken Cheesesteak [no roll]

3:00pm - 3 Bolgna/Cream Cheese rollups

we are coming to the end of the season for corn on the cob and I just cannot bear to pass it up! I have a feeling that this will be the last week that it will be in our area

Jody, I'm so glad you had a good time at the shore! I also know what you mean about the "fruits of the season" like sweet corn and watermelon. I've been good about avoiding them but it's been TOUGH!

You sound like you're back on track and rarin' to go! You've been eating so healthy the past couple days! I'm sure the scale will reflect all that effort soon, so don't get discouraged! I just KNOW you'll be in ONEDERLAND by Christmas!! Of course it will be much easier for us to get outside and exercise when this RAIN leaves....LOL!

I did NOT stay on track during our weekend trip up to the cabin. I managed to drop 2 pounds and I really don't know how that was possible! Maybe I will see it catch up with me as the week goes on. I feel focused this morning. I know what I need to do to accomplish my goals -- so do I REALLY want that chocolate chip cookie or would I rather be at a healthy weight again SOON? I CANNOT have both --- so I will think of that every time I am tempted to sway.

10:30am - One fried egg

12:30pm - 6oz can of water packed tuna w/1tbsp mayo, crazy salt, and fresh ground pepper.

5:00pm - Roasted Pork, Cauliflower

7:30pm - Starbucks Cafe' Ole' - Decaf Coffee,
Cream, SF Vanilla Sweetner

Jody, the weight seems to be melting off you this week!! WOO-HOO! You've been doing great and staying on track.

By the way, I'd love to know how you make the chicken cheesesteak - sounds yummy!

Onward and downward! You'll need a new clippie soon!

Edit: I just realized you don't have any clippies!!! Did you delete them? I could swear I've seen clippies in your signature in the past....

September 11th --- It seems unbelievable to me that TWO years have gone by already. :(

In answer to Doreen [above]. I get my Chicken Cheesesteaks out. I just order them without the bun and they put the stuffings in a bowl for me. YUM! To keep my journal cleaner looking I click on the little square below to NOT show my signature. I figure that who wants to have to page thru my signature post after post as they are reading my journal.;)

Hi Jody! I'm glad to hear you're all prepared for Isabel. I hope you remembered to stock up on food that fits your eating plan!

Prayers and pixie dust are being sent your way, neighbor, for things here at home and for your concerns in Delaware.

Stay safe!

Thanks Doreen! We faired pretty well with the Hurricane although I believe over half of our area is out of electric. I haven't seen you on yet this morning and am thinking that you may be out of power too. The tides down at the shore didn't get near as high as predicted so my parents vacation home seems to have done well also -- we are heading down there tonite to check things out.:D

Weigh In - 215

2:00pm - Chicken Cheesesteak [no roll]

10:00pm - Sm. Ceasar Salad, Cheeseburger [no roll]

Jody, I'm so thankful that all is well with you!! Your family seems to be going through so much lately and you are continually in my prayers.

We did not lose power but we did lose cable - so no TV or Internet. We've just gotten it back. There are still people within a couple blocks of us who are without power.

Have a safe trip to Delaware!!
