Wow you have just been doing so good with all workouts and wedding plans. Did you ever find out if you mother inlaw was gonna wear the colors you wanted? If you have a chance can you put the 1800 number for disney credit card, I would like to check into getting one. I hope you have a great day and have fun at the gym.

Thank you for all of the great compliments. I never found out about whether MFMIL will wear the colors that I pick....That probably (I hope) won't come up again until the holidays.

Today, I am really not feeling that well. I won't be going to the gym today. I have been resting most of the day. I hope I feel better tomorrow, I came home early from work today! I am keeping up with my diet though.:sunny:

I have a question for all of you- I've already posted this on the resort boards but thought that I would ask all of you as well.
If my DF and I book our room at the POFQ or POR, and later on we are offered a better deal for say...Grand Floridian or Boardwalk, would we be able to upgrade to that without any penalites? We are trying to get as educated as possible before we book our trip for next year.

You asked over in my journal where I live. I live up in the Northeast corner (windham county). Seems like there are lots of CT disers but most live down in the south east and south west. I live up in cornfield country.

Hi Val, Thank you I am feeling so much better. I guess it was just allergies. Although, it was weird because it really did feel like I was coming down with something.

I would love to get your dh with my df but I don't know if the calendar will cooperate. :) We've been getting things together little by little every weekend for the wedding. :teeth:

Okay, the update on my diet and exercise. Still doing well with the diet but I do want to modify it a little, I've been trying to get another session together with my personal trainer to get weighed, measured, etc. so I know my starting point; plus I want her to go over diet with me, so that I can achieve all my goals for the wedding. She knows the dress and is keeping that in mind when we design the different workouts.

Anyway, I spent a good hour and a half at the gym, I did the following:
Treadmill- 20 minutes, weight loss setting, resistance 4
Arc Trainer- 15 minutes, weight loss setting, resistance 4
Crossramp- 20 minutes, Glut setting, resistance 2
Long pull (for the back)- 45 pounds, 12 reps, 3 sets
Lat pull down- 45 pounds 12 reps, 1 sets & 50 pounds, 12 reps, 2 sets
Seated pecs-30 pounds, 12 reps, 3 sets
Incline press- 10 pounds, 12 reps, 3 sets
Wide chest press- 25 pounds, 12 reps, 3 sets
***Superset- Plat loaded squat (80 pounds on each side)15 reps, 3 sets done in between Standing press- 7 pounds, 12 reps, 3 sets**
***2nd superset- Prone leg curl and shoulder press- 40 pounds for the leg curl, 10 pounds for the shoulder press, 12 reps each, 3 sets***
Back Squats- 20 pounds, 12 each, 3 reps.

That's it....I could have easily done more if the gym wasn't so busy.

Jodi, your dedication to exercise always amazes me! You must really enjoy it! I've heard of a runner's high - do you get a similar rush of good feelings during or right after working out at the gym?

Doreen, I do love to workout. It wasn't always that way but I think of the end results and it just motivates me to keep on going. To tell you the truth I would rather workout then diet. ;)

Still going strong with the diet but I am giving myself a day off from the gym. Just decided to do a bit of reading up on what else but Disney World....I bought a copy of the Unofficial Guide over this past weekend. Me and my DF are trying to save money whenever possible, although it will be tough. I decided to reserve the honeymoon portrait package at MGM for now but will also reserve the one at the Magic Kingdom when I have saved enough money for the 2nd session.:jumping1: I can't wait to see my DF face when he finds out that I arranged for this surprise.

I also am looking into having a custom garter made for my wedding. I have contacted a girl from the knot that does makes custom garters and she is going to look into making me a Disney (Mickey & Minnie), I hope she is able to do so.

Well, I hope everyone else is doing well. I am going to the gym tomorrow and will have a full update then. Till tomorrow:wave:
 
OMG the garter idea is the best. Wish I had thought of something like that. Sounds like your wedding is gonna be wonderful. Have fun at the gym. Keep up the great work.

So, you got the Unofficial Guide this weekend? I love that book! It took me awhile to read it, but it was well worth it! I would also recommend that you read the Econoguide Walt Disney World Resort by Corey Sandler. He has some great tips in there as well and lots of interesting information about the rides.::yes:: Oh... and don't forget to visit the Budget Boards here on the DIS as well.

I can't remember.. Are you and DF staying on property for your honeymoon? I don't remember if you said or not.

Today went pretty well. Although, I have to confess I didn't do that well on the diet. My mother made some of her macaroni & cheese and I just couldn't resist.

But.....I did work out very hard at the gym. I didn't get as much done as I wanted but still worked very hard. Here is the whole workout:
1. Treadmill- 20 minutes, weight loss setting, resistance 4
2. Crossramp- 20 minutes, glute setting, resistance 2
3. Arc Trainer- 15 minutes, weight loss setting, reistance 4
4. Cable pull back- 20 pounds, 12 reps, 3 sets
5. Superset (combo of Frontraise, Lateral raise, and Lunge on Right and then left)- 6 pounds (each arm), 12 reps, 3 sets
6. Bicep curl- 20 pounds, 12 reps, 3 sets.

That's it! I wish I could have done more but there is always a lot of people at the gym but I still feel like I did a good job. ::yes::

I contacted the girl that does the garters and she was able to find a very cool Mickey and Minnie charm to put on the garter, besides that it will be made of Ivory colored lace. However, for right now it is on hold because of the weather in Florida. I'm so excited about it though. I decided not to do the whole garter toss, bouquet toss at the wedding but wanted to kind of get the garter for DF eyes only. ;)

I probably won't be able to post over the weekend but will make up for it on Monday by posting any exercise done over the weekend then. I have a lot going on this weekend, DF is helping house sit with me, so the both of us will be able to have some quality time. :p Plus, on Saturday night we are going to see B.B. King; it's an early anniversary gift- we started to date on August 31, 1999. We are also celebrating our anniversary of when DF proposed to me, so I bought tickets to Wicked (the broadway play) we will be in the front row. I can't wait to see it but that isn't until October 30 (the actual anniversary is October 28th).

Hi Everyone,

Boy did I ever mess up this past weekend, the cheat started with Thursday and just kept on going. :mad: Oh well, I am not going to beat myself up with that.

Tonight, I will be continuing on like nothing ever happened. It was a very fun weekend- The concert was great! I had so much fun and I got to spend a lot of quality time with my fiance. :p

Tracy, thank you so much for your recommendation for the Disney Econoguide....I picked that up yesterday- Just started to read it today....I like the way that it is set up a little bit more than the Unofficial guide.

Do any of you have the Disney Visa? I just had a few questions about their rewards system. I have 33 points so far. I really haven't had the card that long but I am using it for all of the wedding things. I was just curious about whether or not you could use your points to pay for part of the vacation. I don't think so but it would be nice. All of the points add up fast for me.

Right now, DF and I are trying to put together plans for when we go to Salem, MA this coming October. I just set up for one of their Trolley tours today. I can't wait to get away....I really feel like I need it.

I went after a job a couple of weeks ago within my company...but it was already filled :mad: However, I heard today that the person that filled the position was fired this past Friday because of lying on the application. It would be great if they still kept me in mind for the position (although I doubt it). Boy, would that position help me out a lot (financially).

I will update my posting after I go to the gym tonight. God, it tough going back...although once I get there I will be just fine.

So, did you make it back to the gym tonight? How did it go? I have never done as well if I wait until the end of the day to go to the gym... I think that takes so much more mental devotion! However, I'm lucky I don't have to get up to be at work early in the day. Man, I just hope that if/when I have a job that requires that, that I will be able to w/o at night too if I have too! I'm glad your weekend went so well!

Well, I decided not to go to the gym today- I am still very sore from yesterday but I will be back to it tomorrow.

I should have the custom garter later this week. I will try and post pictures for all of you I can't tell you how much fun I've been having with the Disney theme of our wedding. I have a feeling I am going to love it! The girl that is making it for me is so together.

Not much else going on. Although, I am all set for the first honeymoon picture session for MGM for next year...I am going to wait a little longer for the second reservation.

I feel so guilty for last weekend. God, that was so bad.

Hope everyone else is doing good.

Update I have just booked a session with my personal trainer in addition to my September 11th, to go over a diet plan and exercise. I can't wait. This keeps me so motivated.:tongue:
