Is June 20th the next court date? That's what I have in my head and I'm too lazy to go back and read through the thread to find out. Anyone know yet if it will be televised?

I so agree with the bolded. Jurors should not be under such scrutiny. How do you get a fair trial if the jurors will be hunted down after the verdict IF their verdict isn't what the majority wanted or expected. It's ridiculous.

Their lives should not be picked apart for doing their civic duty.

Things like this is why they should remain anonymous.

On topic just though of something... lots of ppl are speculating that JA and Travis did not have sex on June 4th and she used a timer to take the pics. Was looking (ick again) at the pictures and one of the pics of her on her back w/o her face in it has his knee in the bottom right corner of the photo. Just wanted to throw that out there since for some stupid reason I was thinking about it Im now officially trial withdrawn!

I think like that, I don't believe they had sex either. I will go back and view the pictures.

Can you explain more about why you think they didn't have sex that day? That was something I accepted as a given but would be interested in hearing your opinions.

I didn't think they had sex either and maybe she had somehow manipulated the date on the camera from prior pictures? I would like an explanation of what the pictures mean sbtrfly. Seems I'm missing something?

I don't know if anyone recall's Jodi asking Det FLores if the time stamps could have been added? There has been truth to some of what she says. If you also look at the pictures there are two different bottles on the bed. Plus with the those text messages that he sent her, he was pissed. He told her he never wanted to see her again. Even the rope was a lie. No need to cut rope for that bed.

She showed up and shocked him. I believe she held the knife or the gun on him in the shower. No way they had sex. JMO

It was 2001 and DNA test for 2 kids court ordered through their lab. Not like the DNA tests you can get now over the counter and send in the mail. I didnt mind it wasnt my money.

Hi all! The thread is still moving forward I see. So many interesting things to read and different perspectives. If that note from Travis' family is true I pray they continue to get the support they need. Interestingly enough ... There's a past case in ny where a mom n dad lost their three little girls in a car crash ( due to husband sister blood showing Dwi n drugs ...while she drove his children..and she also killed her own child, herself and three others in another car ....driving wrong way on Taconic parkway/ny) a huge tragedy.... Controversy as husband of deceased and others said she never drank or did drugs...anyhow point was that the woman who lost all her children due to her own sil has written a book and was on tv today on how
she has moved forward thru the grace of her faith and her amazing friends and husband/family. She said she had to forgive her sil because it was killing HER and basically in order to survive and live she had to get rid of her anger etc to move forward
It reminded me of Travis family... Not ever forgiving the convicted murderer But somehow someway being able to move forward so that that the Cm can not control and ruin their families and their lives any more than she has already, kwim?
They..T family deserves to live and love and regain their own lives as the Cm will likely not see the light of day again.
The tragedy is all consuming draining their lives and controlling them... I don't think T or any loved one would ever want that for he loved his family so much... So sad


Pigletgirl...congratulations to you. Your new little baby girl takes some time to get used too.. Your world has basically changed the moment she was born for you all to love and cherish. Don't be so hard on your sleep deprived self. Try n relax n nap when she does. Try n just enjoy the little moments thru out the day... And forget about the xtra dust bunnies and house details ... They'll be there to get to later.
One day at a time. Slowly but surely your new routine will emerge and things will get done whether that's showering at night now instead of the morning and give your body time to rest up a bit...it's all normal feelings ur having
It's all the changes, hormonal, precious baby, family dynamics etc.
take lotsof pictures cause they change so quickly....
Take a little time outside each day to feel that sunshine and listen to nature and spend some more time bonding with that bundle of love you now have in ur arms... Such a blessing indeed!
We re all out here ready to listen and offer up some support and use that phone of yours to reach out to family n friend... Don't be shy... Motherhood is hardwork but worth every second.

I can't even watch anything that has to do with the jurors.

Don't know what it is. Burn out? Don't want to hear excuses?

Not forgiving leaves you in the bondage of the person that put you there. Healing is a choice. That is what happened to Jodi, she could not forgive Travis and let it go. So the rage and anger grew and led to his death. I understand exactly what that lady is saying. I have issues myself and god is dealing with me one day at a time, so I can be released from my ex husband and what he did to me. I want to be healed and it is taking time. But there will come a time when I will be able to forgive and move on.

Walmart sells them for $27-28 you just have to swab a cheek and mail it in now... times have changed but I still get a tickle that he blew $600 for nothin

That would make more sense to me. I really thought he was an idiot for taking her in that day. My take was that he thought she had left when he got in the shower, but she came back in after putting everything in the car.

But what would be her purpose in putting that date on the sex pictures? She would be placing herself at the scene of the crime.

Interesting. I was up late the other night and watched a documentary called "Something's Wrong with Aunt Jean". It was about the case you're describing. The thought was that she had an abscessed tooth and may have been self-medicating (had stopped at a convenience store to get pain reliever, but they were out).

She had high levels of alcohol and THC. There was a bottle of vodka(?) in the van that her husband admitted they had had at the campground. He also admitted that she smoked pot from time to time to help her sleep.

They were adamant that she would never have done any of that with the children in the car but wondered whether she might have had a stroke or something that affected her thinking. None of the medical consultants thought so.

One child lived - her young son. The saddest part of the entire show was hearing that her husband had said that he never wanted kids to start with and that she was the one supposed to be doing all of this and now look what he was stuck with. That was shocking to me.

I was disappointed when I saw the jury wasn't unanimous.
Poor Juan, he was sitting there like he was hit in the stomach.

UGH........ They will never het the death penalty for her now.
But I can live with LWOP.

I can't wait to see all the good she is going to do for people now.

C eats well. Today at her first appt she was 6lbs 8 oz, she has gained 2 oz since her appt Friday at the hospital. She tends to cat nap at night and sleep longer stretches during the day. Only concern is that she doesn't like to be put down much and often naps in my arms or wrap. I hate hearing her scream which she does during every change when we unwrap her. So far the transition has been overwhelming and I really didn't expect that. DH has been amazing and so supportive as is everyone else but between my entire head of hair falling out ( feels like it), and my hip bones not feeling aligned its been an interesting experience thus far. Don't get me wrong, I love my baby to death and THRILLED that she is here, I am just overwhelmed at times. My mom flies home in the morning and I know I will be crying as we take everyone to the airport. This post makes me weepy all over again.

YES YOU CAN DO THIS.
We all feel a bit overwhelmed at first trust me.
You will establish a schedule and it will all became second nature.

I know you will miss your mom and MIL but you have your husband and he seems to be quite helpful.
Hang in there and sleep when she does.

I saw that same picture, but it had no time stamp nor did it not show his knee.
