Piglet, sounds like the start. It might take a while, but be patient. Go walk! I had that for about 16 hours before I actually went in with my DD. Worked out as my Mom had passed away 3 days earlier and I was able to get through the funeral. Started real labor about 5 hours after the burial. My Dad was so excited that his DGD was going to be born. DD's named after me and my mom. Although, she claims I named her after Bob Marley since they share the same b'day!

I love a good lightening storm and love to sit outside in Florida and watch the clouds build as well. We live in VA and suffered the Derecho last year. Lost 11 trees in our backyard. Was the closest I ever want to come to being in a tornado like storm. We heard the storm coming, but all of a sudden my DH had a bad feeling and yelled for all of us to get into the bathroom. The lights had gone out and we were all feeling around and trying to round up the one dog who is deaf! Sat in the bathroom for about 30 minutes listening to the trees hitting the house and wondering what the heck was going on out there. You could see the line of trees ripped out of the back yard and deposited on our back deck and house. Some even landed in the front yard. Amazingly we had no damage to our house other than two ripped screens, a small hole in the deck, two broken shingles and a hole in the hot tub! The cover had come off the hot tub and a tree landed in it. It was sickening to see all the tree damage and all the foliage on our roof. However, it is NOTHING compared to what those out west are going through.

I think I've got my schedule set to watch the trial today and then run an errand during the lunch time. I volunteered to feed the softball team before the District final tonight, so I need to pick up and deliver the sandwiches.

My daughter used to be a little princess wannabe. Everything she had was pink, everything she did had to do with princesses, she wore tiaras and tutus everywhere. Then one day, out of nowhere, she said "Mom, I HATE pink" and so we painted her room lime green like requested, removed any hint of princess stuff and since then, she wears primarily boy shorts and a tshirt. Weirdly enough though, in the past few weeks she has started caring about what she looks like and has been wearing skirts and dresses....she has a "boyfriend" too Oh yeah, she also dropped out of gymnastics after 8 years and is focusing on softball and volleyball. *Sigh* My baby's growing up!!

You should DEFINITELY take that adult ballet class! Or would you look like Jim Carrey in a tutu (was it Ace Ventura?)

I don't think anyone knows if she will or not. She's stuck between a rock and a hard place. She's the one who allegedly "beat" Jodi. Did she or didn't she? If she did, does she go up there and say that? If she didn't, does she lie for Jodi? They're saying that her mother SHOULD testify, but I think JM gets a shot at her. YIKES.

I don't know how Nurmi is going to explain away Patty Womack not testifying.

I agree. I don't think anyone should be getting death threats. As moronic as I think the CA jurors were, I thought death threats were so WRONG. Ever. Same with Casey Anthony. I hate to see the justice system screwed with. Are people not going to want to testify in general, for one side or another? Are people going to avoid being on a jury like the plague? (More than usual.) Not good.

Have "Raising America" (HLN) on now, and they're not saying that Patty Womack isn't testifying at all...just speculating that she might not. ?

If her mom testifies , Juan will shred her. Someone may lie and commit perjury. Juan will ask her if she beat Jodi or her husband for that fact. I wish Darryl would think about this. I hate what he is teaching his son.

Admittedly, I sometimes don't pay much attention to whoever is on the stand...but I have a feeling that the "beatings" Jodi may have received were probably nothing more than what a pissed off mom might do. My friend used to spank her kids with spoons, they got to choose their spoon...and soon learned that slotted spoons hurt A LOT more (her kids complained that she was abusive so my friend and I decided to whack each other with various spoons to prove that we wouldn't have lasting effects. Turns out that it does hurt but never had bruises or anything....from then on it became a game among our friends and we'd randomly grab a spoon and whack somebody's butt and run away. Man were we stupid)....and again I've run off on a tangent. But yeah, nothing good can come out of the mom testifying. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Besides, the jury most likely has their minds made up already.

I agree , death threats are wrong on any side of a trial. If you want a good book to read, The name is " Gone Forever" The husband was real strange. Much like Jodi. I didn't think that was possible. I finished it in less than two days.

Juan would also tear apart Patty on the stand.

I just saw that too, he said something like "just dont do me like my dad, I have to pay my dues and so should you" and the Dad flipped out.

Really sad case but im not familiar with it, Dad was on HLN also.

Already a busy morning at work. Everybody developed problems over the weekend. Trying to get everything done before start time today.

And yes, death threats are just wrong. What always amazes me about this is people are watching a MURDER trial. IF they were to carry out this death threat, then in this particular case; they are no better than Jodi. Are they hoping to make the next big trial? I hope the police catch these people and prosecute them for the death threat.
