I sort of thought JA looked sedated this morning. Doubt sheriffs office would allow that. Any chance JW shared some of her stash of weed with JA just prior to court?

does anyone believe that IF the murderer decides to say she is sorry and takes responsibility....
that the jury would accept that?
What could she possibly say to that jury to save her life and ask for mercy.....???

I cannot think of one thing that she could say that I would Believe is not self serving, KWIM??

And the dt was just trying for sympathy............its just so awful................and a sick joke.........
her evil life is not worth anything to society...his pointing at the jury and saying that its their conscious is despicable to me.....................
there are NO mitigating factors IMHO

Hello everyone! Sorry I wasn't able to make it over here this morning. Between a doctor appt, quick grocery store run and a mother who wanted to walk at the park I didn't get a chance to watch today's hearing. I've read a bit on here as to what has happened and I know for sure that I will want to watch is via youtube when it is uploaded.

As for Baby C and I, I've made not much progress. I'm still 1 cm dilated and posterior (aka "thick") but her head is starting to engage. Everything is still intact. So we wait. :hourglass

I do know for sure that if C isn't here by 7:30pm on May 24th, we will be induced! That is a week from tomorrow. :faint:

What a day. I'm tired. Time to put my feet up.

head engaged is a good thing.. except it brings on more aches. All those aches and pains that no one ever told me about..all they ever talked about was labor pains and that "ring of fire" that you need to push through. Hopefully baby C will get scared into coming out. For my last 2 all it took was hearing the words "we're going to do a stress test and if not in labor in x number of days we'll induce" Both times never made it to the scheduled stress test. 1 was scheduled for December 26th since my appointment was the 23rd, so 3 days...the other was scheduled for the next morning.

I can't imagine what she can say. She'd have to stop trashing Travis, for one thing. No snide remarks about wanting his family to remember him the way they want to (or whatever she said in the post-verdict interview). They're talking on HLN about how she may say how she's selling her art work to benefit domestic violence causes. Oh yeah, that'll go over big.

hWIld thinks he just saw Darryl Brewer walk out of chambers. Looked like him from hWhat hWild remembered of him. #JodiArias

I can't imagine DB having anything to say since he had to testify that she got the gas cans from him. Basically he helped her with out realizing it. Should be interesting when they come out. Unless court gets cancelled for the day.

Wow, I totally had missed what they just mentioned a few minutes back on HLN about Wille and Nurmi trying to get off the case! They are definitely phoning it in at this point for sure!

I cannot get over the DV stuff. What a joke, and an insult! Maybe its for MEN who are VICTIMS of DV?

Willmott just darted out of chambers to her desk to get her phone and now is darting back to chambers. Zzzzzz #JodiArias

Why are there always all those "h"s that don't belong there? :scratchin

:confused3 Because it's not Judge Perry? Drives me nuts. It's annoying enough when I'm home and waiting, but when I'm out and hurry home to be here on time ON THE OFF CHANCE that TODAY will be the one day they start on time...and then, once again, they don't...super annoying.

Jodi's friend is in chambers with the DT and the judge? I think that's what Ryan Smith said on HLN. Maybe she changed her mind about showing her face to defend JA.

Wild started to do the "h" thing on a whim one day when I think he was just bored during testimony (must have been while Sammy or Violet was on the stand ;)) ... he also likes to talk about himself in the third person too ... I think he just has a good sense of humor ... His tweets always make me laugh ... :)

I heard Ryan say JA's friend was in chambers too ... I think the DT wants her to talk about JA's childhood neglect and abuse  ... Maybe they are getting permission from the Judge to do that or what she can and cannot say say ...

so wilma came out of chambers to grab something and went back in chambers...........the wait..

From WAT's website:
hW: When you see me typing and putting an h in front of a w it’s because I enjoy pronouncing the h in front of a w. Juan Martinez was heard saying “hWhat?” a few times and if you are a fan of Family Guy like I am you will be familiar with the way Stewie Griffin pronounces words like “hWhich, hWhat, hWhere, cool wHip”.

Attorneys are in chambers. The defense has two witnesses, Arias's friend Patricia and ex-boyfriend Darryl Brewer. Each went into chambers separately and have left. #jodiarias

The impact statements were powerful. I was crying all the way through, and still cannot fathom all the pain and anguish the Alexander family has been through. Such a strong and loving family. You see the strength of their character shine through, and through them you know who Travis really was.

the impact statements were heartbreaking.

The brother talking about his nightmares, his separation from his wife and his baby daughter..........
his sister talking about how their family has fractured as they cant bear to see "the one empty chair" when they used to gather....and
grandma dying..........not seeing the outcome GUILTY (and hopefully DEATH) to this vile Evil
convicted murderer

PRAYERS for the Alexander family and friends...Id like to think that Travis is looking down on them all and giving them the strength to get thru the conclusion of this trial.
:grouphug:

:grouphug:

So moving and emotional. The pain the Alexander's have endured, and still endure. We want to protect our loved ones, and Arias inflicted such physical and emotional pain upon Travis, and then upon the Alexander family. Travis' siblings were powerless to save Travis that night, but they have power now to stand up for their brother and seek justice.

Absolutely heart-wrenching. :(

So very heart-wrenching. :sad1::sad1::sad1:

"I don't want to have to see my brother's murderer anymore."
Steven Alexander

You could just feel his pain.:sad1:
