Jodi Arias Trial Part 6, starting with JM Rebuttal April 16

Oh hell, if you can have food, you're doing good, get the food. Good luck on the test. :goodvibes

And yay, Deadliest Catch premiere tonight! :yay:

Ty, and good morning. Finally at the doctors office and got wifi hooked up. Im just here for a medication observation for a new med, only bad thing is it can bottom out your heart rate at 6hrs which is why I have to sit here that long.

Doctor is driving me a little nuts though, checking every 15 mins. Oh and they told me that they're getting catered lasagna for lunch :cool1:

Least no HLN today can live stream for once :yay:

Ok. What the heck happened? I leave to come home and JM is already done with JD? And now Willie is having a go? That was fast.

lol,

There is no need to have a witness ramble on and on. Short, concise and to the point works best. JW is going to ramble because she doesn't have much to work with. lol

JD's synopsis/diagnosis= Jodi's a liar. Enuf said. :rotfl:

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
A whole day's testimony in one sentense. :lmao:

I have a question. I missed part of the trial yesterday.

Maybe I'm confused, but I thought that the psychologist told Martinez that she supervised Laviolette. Then I saw her telling Willmott that she never even met her. Did I miss something?

JD didn't say that she supervised ALV, but IF they had worked in the same clinic, she would be ALV's supervisor because she has the advanced degrees in psychology.

Yikes, that sounds scary, please post and let us know you're okay after this 6 hours observation. You need to make a sign that says No Talking - Court In Session so the Dr doesn't come in talking when the trial is on. ;)

Lasagna, yummy. I had surgery last week and the worst part was not being able to have my morning coffee before the surgery, I'm not a happy person without my coffee. :lmao:

That's it! ::yes::

=============================

Morning, everyone. :goodvibes

Does anyone recall if we have a full Friday for court this week? I'm hoping the State's rebuttal and Defense's cross will conclude this week and we can get closing arguments next week. Am I too optimistic?

Morning all

JW was too much yesterday standing there with her hand on hip. I had a hard time not laughing at her.
She was trying to be tough but she failed miserably IMHO.
Snarky doesn't cut it.

I felt like JD was annoyed with her stupidity and lack of knowledge trying to discredit her but she could spit out an intelligent question to save her life.

Hopefully, she will be prepared today. She was not ready for JM to finish so quickly. Good move JM throw her off track.

I just hope she doesn't keep her for days on end. MOVE IT ALONG WILLIE.

Good morning, everyone!

Can I just start out by saying how much I'm loving Dr. JD's testimony? :worship: In just a few hours, she managed to shoot down not one, but TWO of the DT's witnesses. Hopefully Willie won't keep her up there day after day after day, grasping at anything she can (leaving a few lectures off the CV so it's not "updated" ... really Willie? :sad2: ).

I can't remember what Fridays the judge mentioned, Remus, but I know there were only certain ones. Can't remember if this Friday was even one of them. Damn fog. :p

lol Least he says he can come every half hour now and not bug me so much. I had to switch from my laptop to his pc cause the hospital internet sucks. Now I just asked him hook up the speakers to his pc cause Im not missing the trial :)

now that he's gone I can take the speakers out of the headphone jack(he put in) and put it in right :lmao: Oh and I just impressed (or maybe confused) him with HULU.com

2 more hours till live feed right? think i can make it ;)

Good morning and good health to all the sick and/or pregnant people on this thread! (I added in the "/or"...don't want to be starting rumors! ;))

I think I should start putting the schedule in the First Post as it becomes available, because I can't keep track. As a matter of fact, DD texted me twice in the last week asking me to babysit a couple of "off" days (I do every Friday) and I reply "sure" and then don't write it down. I'm not very organized, despite all the swell "pins" I've pinned about how to get organized. :p

I think JW is going to have problems with this witness because she is clear and concise and doesn't ramble on to give JW time to think of her next question which is why she had problems thinking up things to ask yesterday since as someone else said I don't think she was prepared to question her then. I think we will see quite a few gaps between answers and the next question.

I have to pick up my kids so someone will have to let me know what color socks Nurmi is wearing and that orange tie yesterday, I hope we never have to see again. :rotfl2:

Good morning everyone! I get to watch the trial in a whole new way today. I hooked up the laptop to the 60 inch tv. :woohoo: Bad side at 10 someone is coming to work on the house so the dogs will bark.

But I am ready to see JD kick some butt today...:cheer2:

A person's professional CV need NOT include everything a person has accomplished. Most high-level professionals have so many items that including them all would make it ridiculously long. What should they include? Education; degrees earned and all relative post degree training; licenses, fellowships, internships, externships, publications, prominent or noteworthy casework.

Frankly, I am always skeptical of a padded CV. Alyce's comes to mind.

I am waiting for the defense attorney to once again bear down on the fact that Dr DeMarte needed to work for a period of time under the supervision of a licensed psychologist so that Dr. DeMarte can respond, "Yes, just like Mr. Nurmi must work under your supervision in this very trial."

Oh, how I wish she could tell her that. JW would think twice about asking some of these questions. These CV's would be very long if you included all your seminars, or any speaking engagements. It only needs the most important things. Then you can explain the other things that are not on there.

Ewwww, aren't you being all fancy with your 60 inch tv.:happytv: Don't you wish you had it when Mr., excuse me, Dr. Samuels was testifying.:rotfl:

I had it then, but I don't think I wanted that much of a view. But all the better to see Jodi.......:rolleyes1:lmao:

Well, upon arrival we found out that the room we had booked (since January) was not available (water view club level at the YC) ... and the only room that was available was a king bed room because the resort was fully booked ... I was traveling with my sister so a king bed room wasn't going to work, and btw, we had even requested a double queen bed room on our reservation ... So even though we wanted to stay at the YC, I asked if the BC or BWI had anything available and was told no, they were fully booked too ... So to make a long story, after about 1 1/2 hours of getting some serious run around - (you can't even imagine how many different things we were told) - miraculously they were able to find us a room at the BC :faint: ... So then we had to transfer all of our luggage from YC to BC on our own (ok, not that big of a deal, I don't mind the exercise, but I was getting tired from traveling all day) ... And then the room key they gave us didn't work, so we had to wait again to get that fixed ... So needless to say, not exactly the way we would have liked to start our vacation ...

Then the next night, we went to Cape May Cafe for dinner and I guess the server thought she was my mother and scolded me for eating dessert too soon! ... She snarkily said that she couldn't believe that I had eaten so fast and was eating dessert already ... The truth is I believe she lost time on just how long we had been there ... I can laugh about it now but when it happened I was surprised, and to be quite honest, embarrassed  ...

Then we were at Hollywood Studios one day and we were taking the Animation class and the instructor was asking who had drawn which characters so he would choose one that no one had done yet ... So my sister raised her hand when he asked about Bolt and he actually called her out and said "you've really drawn Bolt?" ... like he didn't believe her ... Once again, it's funny now, but when it happened it was like "What?!" ...

And then, we seemed to have next door neighbors at the resort who liked to leave their young teens alone at night who liked to run up and down the halls knocking on other guests doors :headache: ...

And finally, one night about 11:30pm, there was a group of local teens who had come from a formal school dance and were screaming and carrying on outside on the resort property ... At first, I thought it was a wedding party because I could see from my room that they were dressed in gowns and tuxes, but I found out the next morning from other guests who had seen, heard and spoken to them that they were local high school students who had just attended their end of year formal - where that was, I don't know ...

So this trip definitely had a few speed bumps, but at least we can laugh about it all now that we are home :) ... Maybe I should get myself a journal and write it all down too ;) ...

Wow, the hotels screwed you around badly, I almost always stay at an offsite hotel named Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista, I LOVE IT there! Been going there since the late 90's (on family trips with my parents back then). Maybe check it out if the whole hotel thing put a dapper on things for you, never had a bad time there and I can't even count how many times I have been.

Also, I have stories about teen playing ding done ditch at hotels let me tell you! Met some cool girls on vacation back when I was teen too. ;) Now I like to scare them, I wait till I see them in the peephole about to knock and open the door right before and they freak out, lol!

I always used to like to spy on any events that hotels had back when I was a teen, found them interesting and such. Now they are more of just an annoyance for sure though.

Was it just you and your sister then?

I thought that question was asked in a very confusing way by jm. I thought it was smart of jw to clarify.

JD had said she with a Phd supervised people in their Masters program. Willie then asked something like " So if you had worked with ALV you would have been her supervisor". JD responded with a yes
