If I had known this was coming up, I was at the Walt Museum in Frisco in Nov of 2012. Walt's daughter was there that day, I would have grilled her about Snow White....

Here is a question, was AL reading Travis' journal? Sky Hughes was ordered to turn the journals over to Det. Flores, but he never got them and now the Defense has had them.

You know I see Juan as not a complainer, as he knows how much things cost. So he lets the little things go that that take up so much time. But he needs to speak up about this issue if he has never had access to them.

Off topic but I have no where else to post. I'm getting ready to go watch my ds race in his first race at a local track. Dh has been soo nervous today it's been funny. And I have not been nervous at all. I guess watching him ride the motorcycle when he was 8 and then play football against boys twice his size has helped my nerves.

When did this take place? ... Wednesday or Thursday? ... I don't remember Violet asking for a potty break on Thursday so if it happened on Wednesday, then Juan must have already said something and the Judge took care of it and it's all over with? ... or is Juan preparing a Motion for Defense Witness Misconduct and the DT will be hit with it on Monday ... Wouldn't that be sweet ...

Thursday, right before the lunch break, ALV asked the Judge if she may have a break. The Judge then went ahead and called for the morning/lunch recess. Apparently, this is when she went up to Samantha. Later on, I remember posting that Det. Flores was with SAmantha in the gallery when they went for the afternoon break. They were looking over at Juror 5 and I thought it had something to do with that. Now, after reading over at WS, I wonder if Det. Flores was there to keep ALV from coming up. At the end of the day after the Jury left and the Judge asked if there was anything else, Juan said just what we talked about in private. This is were the WSer speculated they were discussing what happened.

My rate is the same as yours although I shouldn't be on the stand long unless your attorney drones on like Nurmi. In that case, you and I both could reap enough to plan vacations at DisneyWorld.

I wonder if the judge will sequester this jury during deliberations. I've been meaning to look up her case recitations for the denial of the Defense's motion to sequester to see if those might apply, but I came down with the nastiest Spring cold ever and I'm just damn near drained from it and it just started last night. I hope this jury can convict Jodi to the fullest extent because I'm not sure how they'd feel about their decision of anything less if/when they see the non-admissible evidence we've seen.

I doubt they will be sequestered. IMHO I can't see them go for that long. I could be wrong. I have been wrong many times in my life..

I read this motion from the DT and a lightbulb just went off. Correct me if you think this is not where this was going. I copied this from the document from Jan 17, 2013, day nine of trial:


Nurmi talking about how the State charged… There are 2 ways they charged 1st degree murder. One is an alternative of Felony Murder (murder during a robbery, eg.)

We know Ms. Arias, based on the photos, was invited in that home and then something happened.

There is nothing the State presented that shows Felony Murder should be included. What crime was furthered? Assertion for Felony Murder should not stand.

When he showed the Washington Mutual deposit printout, was he saying that she stole money from Travis' house in the process? If so, it could point to the alternative of Felony Murder- murder during a robbery. Does this make sense? Do you think this is why he kept on about the money?

Jodi had access to all of Travis' accounts. So that could possibly be a link to the issue. I think this computer expert is going to surprise us all by what she did. I have no idea about the charges, except that Jodi did say if murder 2 was not put on the table she would trash Travis. I believe they said it is called black mail to the state.

So I am watching all the UNEDITED police tapes now with JA and Flores.

I am watching #4.

JA is talking to Flores about her camera as vs Travis' camera and she has her arms all extended out on the table and now she is drawing a pic of her memory stik and my point is that HER HAND DOES NOT AT ALL look like that finger is the least bit broken. The one finger she said Travis broke in a rage.

It is around from 10 minutes to 15 minutes.

Also on tape #3 JA is pleading with Flores that she did not do this to Travis because (as JA says) "WHY WHY WHY would I do that?" Its so obvious to me that this is not anything about PTSD or Battered Woman …. JA is one jealous scorned person.

You're kidding! Why doesn't that surprise me. I suspect both his and ALV's careers are over now. I hope their "standard fees" made them enough for it to be worth it.
