Sadly, I think you are correct. This is becoming a media/courtroom circus, and I'm afraid if this keeps going that it's going to end up in a mistrial.

I went back to the recorded JVM I have and am rewatching JM's cross of Violet, and honestly, at the beginning, he was strong (as Juan is, but not overly), but she started out refusing to answer questions "yes or no" that could easily have been answered yes or no. So again...why didn't she just do it when she could, try to expand when she needs to, and if necessary, allow the DT to come back on redirect to expand.

Altho I wasn't thrilled with the direction Juan ended up taking, I absolutely understand his passion, having sat there watching Jodi portrayed as The Victim. I do think he needs to tone it down a bit.

Just caught Beth Karas saying on Dr Drew that the jurors have sat through plenty of JM's cross examinations, and they're familiar with it now. And, Juror #5 smiled when it was JM's turn to get up. Hearing that, I wonder if someone else saw that, and there's concern about the remaining jury seeing that. I'm willing to bet we don't see #5 in the courtroom again.

Am I confused and in a fog? JVM ended with JM's cross, and NG went back to Willie and Violet. ??? Why didn't NG continue where JVM left off?

I follow these jodi threads and don't say much but I gotta say that I agree with those who have said this is becoming a circus. I don't understand how the judge is letting this get out of hand. There will be a mistrial if no control is taken. Wilmott and her constant objections, inappropriate smiles and scoffs...she bugs me! How is she able to get away with it?

As far as JM is concern, I know he is going somewhere with this whole Snow White story...unfortunately we have to wait until Monday to find out.

Whew! You had me going there! I didn't watch the testiphony today except for the last 15 minutes or so that they just showed on Dr. Drew, and I am mostly catching up thru this thread and WS.

I will say that the Disney lover in me was getting a chuckle out of the Snow White references, especially when she said her title came from the Disney version and not the Grimm fairy tale version.

OMG OMG OMG too many phone interruptions AND finally got to finish watching !!!!!

First of all how odd for the trial to go from JVM over to DR DREW and nothing on NG????

Thankfully I taped everything and was able to watch all of the SNOW WHITE testimony! OMG JM! I actually laughed out loud at VIOLET not knowing the ages of the dwarfs and then JM says they lived in a shack and VIOLET says she thought it was a cute little cottage! OMG!

WALT must have been rolling over in his grave and I think I need to get to DL to Fantasyland and ride SNOW WHITE!

About to watch cross but I watched a 40 second clip of Violet acting non-chalant and asking JM if he was mad at her. I think I want to punch her more than I want to punch Jodi..or Gus...or Sammy. What a disgusting, snide person.

Disney only owns their version of Snow White. The actual character is public domain.

I read it in her voice! I hope you really emphasized the "I-Owa" part. She breaks down her words in some strange ways. I can't get over the Nancy Grace spoof...I should find it again just for kicks and giggles

She really upset me bad with that remark. If she is a professional , why make that remark?

I know my poor question got buried. AL said that Jodi and Travis went out to buy the rope for the bed. I don't recall Jodi testifying to anything like that. Anyone recall that?

I didn't hear that part of the testimony, but in the original testimony, she said that Travis had bought it because they had used a twine before and it was scratchy. I don't know when he went out and bought it though...and I don't think she was with him. (Probably because it wasn't true)
