I agree. The true test will be how she holds up under cross, but based upon her testimony so far, I think she will be good.

Good Morning, everyone.

I am just so sad. Boston is my hometown, my city. I grew up there. I never missed a Marathon from childhood right through to taking my kids year after year as they grew up. Its one of the biggest traditions for Boston families for New England families for families around the country and world to come to Boston on PATRIOT'S DAY and watch the Boston Marathon. I am so sad for Boston. They are all so sad. 3 killed. A child hugging his dad as he crosses the finish line. 144+ injured. Many losing limbs. This is so senseless. To target a fun fun city on a HISTORIC day in their city is horrific. They are all in so much pain. Please pray for BOSTON.

I am going to follow JM as I also listen to coverage on my Squeezebox coming from Boston.

I've been so depressed about all this. I'm late coming in to the trial today because I went to buy something for a Pinterest project. I'm resorting to Pinterest projects to cheer me up.

Any time something like this happens my special needs brother spends the day exclaiming "Osama bin Laden is a *****," and this is from a guy who also preaches we're all God's children so it's very upsetting to him.

Hope he's OK.

I'm stuck in a chair holding my sleeping 7 month granddaughter, hope they start soon.

There's nothing like a grandchild to snuggle with.

She's very confident and well-spoken. I love that she's young, therefore up-to-date on current practices and diagnoses - she's sort of the anti-ALV/Samuels.

She's awesome so far. But even the best witness questioned by the other side could run into problems.

I think one of the (many MANY) problems with Samuels and Violet regarding their ages is that they felt very fatherly and motherly towards Jodi, and that's not good. Not saying every professional their age would. But with this expert, she wasn't going in there with that issue. And as someone upthread said...bet Jodi didn't like her...young, pretty, smart (maybe as smart as EINSTEIN!), successful, maybe even with a FAMILY. Poor Jodes. Bet it was a rough 12 hours.

I will tell you right now, if I was called in any capacity to be a witness in this trial for JA, I would runnnnnnnn and hideeeeeee because it seems the media does not take well to those FOR JA. Because WHO wants to be a witness FOR a ADMITTED MURDERED.

If you have facebook on your phone, you could get updates from The State vs Jodi Airas page, people post there frequently and add comments by the minute. There's also a page for Juan Martinez and a page for Detective Flores, all have good updates...
