Jodi Arias Trial Part 4, starting with redirect of "expert" Dr Samuels, March 19

I didn't know that the families have a say with whether to accept a plea deal or not ... I thought it was just up to the prosecution and the judge ... I can understand why the victim's family may be asked for their opinion about a plea deal ... but why would a defendant's family get to give their opinion? ... Quite honestly, that would tick me off if I victim's relative ...
Did someone say Jodi's family is in there?

They're just starting to discuss this on HLN...that his family is in there. NOW they're expressing concern on HLN. Possibilities of a break in the schedule, or that one of the jurors spoke to a family member (I think that's what she said), or a mistrial, or...?

I do think it has to be BIG to have the sibs in the same room as Jodi. They're saying on HLN that it could be something very simple, but I don't believe that. If it was that simple, they'd just let the family know separately.

I wonder if they're questioning the family members about something THEY may have said, and in that case, Jodi has a right to be there.

What if Jodi said to Travis' siblings "It's so nice to finally meet you, terrible under the circumstance...but what can ya do" hahahah, Taneisha would probably grab a letter opener off the judges desk and slit Jodi's throat. Kinda hoping to see Jodi come out a bit bruised up like she was in a scuffle.

@SueCotie No, the Mother and Aunt are still here in courtroom.

Victims families are often asked their input and especially about plea deals and it could be that Jodi requested her family as support.

That would be ironic since JA says she doesn't get along with them very well ...

Vinnie Politan tweeted that both JA's family and TA's family were in chambers ...

Just said on HLN that the Victims' Bill of Rights gives the family the right to attend hearings about the case. Or something like that.

They need to start this stuff earlier. They put the rest of the jurors lives on hold, and then they wonder why some people go crazy.

I laughed out loud at this, Pebbles. :lmao:

I went and gave my flowers a fresh cut and water. Man I love lilies, but they're such a pain! :headache: I was hoping if more of us were busy and not paying attention, maybe something would happen. :p

My lilies bloom and then die, they're pretty easy to take care of! Think it will be at least another month or so before we have any plant life. Trees haven't even started budding. Winters in Wisconsin are far too long, much like this trial.

:confused3 Yeah, I just found my phone and got that VP tweet. Who knows! The suspense is killing me.
Maybe they requested to go in there.
JM apparently went and spoke to them, so I'm sure he gave them the option.

If someone comes out and says "Court is canceled today" and leaves it at that, I'm going to SCREAM.

Ran out to get groceries which I so needed and I don't think reading back I missed anything.

I am getting the SEAL.

Arizona Victims' Bill of Rights entitles family to be present whenever defendant is called into meeting by judge

These are cut flowers in my livingroom - no plant life here yet either! Lilies are my favorite flower, but I hate the pollen they drop everywhere. :headache:

This is why I think this judge's time management skills totally stink ... She asked the jury to be in court at 9:30am today and now they've just been sitting there doing nothing for over an hour already! ... When people get tired and bored, they start doing and saying things that maybe they shouldn't ... She really need to get things under control now and move this trial along ...
