The State covered both bases, the ME testimony was he was shot last while the charging documents say the State presented evidence Travis was shot first.
And she must have had the knife and gun handy, but hidden while Travis was in the shower.

If you can find a replay of her acting out what he did, note that she makes sure to **** her head in the correct positioning that he would get shot and the bullet would travel to the cheek. Still think she's full of crap though.
I do believe parts of her story are true. I can imagine that she may have dropped the camera and Travis possibly yelled at her, but I don't think he "body slammed" her. He probably picked up his camera to look at it.
Is anybody else convinced that everything could happen in 62 seconds? Drop the camera, get yelled at, body slammed, roll away, run down the hall, run in closet, climb shelf, grab gun, exit closet, warn Travis and shoot? Being body slammed and "having the wind knocked out of me" would cause me to take a good 10 seconds or more to get up. Then again, I'm no super human.

She says he was charging her.
YW.
Fits her story well and fits the self defense theory too, but that's only my opinion which, of course, differs from everyone in this thread.
I'm still waiting for Martinez to prove premeditation.
Plus the time to do 29 stab wounds. It also takes time while he is grabbing the knife in between those stabs. All that would not be possible, it would have taken allot longer. She went in there with everything in hand.If you can find a replay of her acting out what he did, note that she makes sure to **** her head in the correct positioning that he would get shot and the bullet would travel to the cheek. Quick question ... Who is the woman that sits at the desk behind Nurmi? ... Thanx ...![]()
I have always wondered if the "bodyslam" was actually Travis falling on her after being stabbed and trying to get out of the shower. She may have stabbed him a couple of more times as he was trying to make his way to the sink. She stabs him in the back as he is at the sink. He goes down the hallway trying to get away, so she slits his throat. She drags him back to the shower. Shoots him in the head because she is evil. Washes his body (and hers) and cleans up.
Wouldn't most people's first instinct be to ask if the camera is OK? Even by her own account, he wasn't a VIOLENT man. There wasn't a continuous history of violence against her, so that we would believe that no matter what she did (like drop a camera) he'd come at her.Travis didn't get too mad at ja when she messed his car up, but we're to believe that he threaten her life when she dropped his camera??

It seems to me, that being prepared with a gun is premeditation. Whether she planted it in his closet or grabbed it from her car when she was packing it up, there was no need for it. Perhaps she was going to give him a last chance and when he failed to appease her, she decided to shoot him. I don't typically carry a gun, so if I did, I'd assume I had ulterior motives.
