Jodi Arias Trial Part 3, STILL in redirect of Jodi, Mar 5

I think so. :teeth: He's probably telling my DD "Don't leave me alone with her anymore!" LOLTrue, but I think his point is that she wouldn't have time to do everything she did, esp if she had to go get the knife, after getting body slammed, running down the hall into the closet, climbing up to get the gun, pointing at Travis, struggling with him, etc. JM is strictly focused, as far as premeditation, on the grandparents' gun, the gas cans, etc.

LOLOL. Yes, he probably is. Does he not realize we are only trying to educate!!!
:yay::eek:

Yes, he point IS after all that she had to go for it for premeditation......

Stupid girl.

Thank goodness I cooked this morning. My husband is going to come rolling in around 5 wanting dinner and they'll probably just be getting started back up.

I am amazed at how many sidebars there have been, how few days/hours court has actually been in session. Anyone know if this is normal for AZ? Does this judge have other cases she's working on so she can't devote all her time to this one or what? We need Judge Perry back! That man ran a tight ship.

Yes, this judge has been busy sentencing other convictions. Wait til Martinez has to reschedule this trial because he's starting another one fairly soon, no wonder they said it'd be April til this trial concludes.

Yes, that was the last picture. Yes, about 5:30. If you look in the first post on this thread, there are several links with lots of info. Not sure of exactly the next time stamp. Don't know where the knife was; she claims it was already there because they allegedly cut the rope BEFORE tying her up (but they took sex pictures and there were no pictures with rope, nor sign of rope when Travis was discovered...Jodi claims she got rid of it), no idea what she was holding but the prosecutor claims he was stabbed first.4:15 EST...just over 1/2 hr. Don't count on it tho.

Hi there MaryAnnDVC!

Thanks! She is so sneaky, arrogant, and vile. She's trying to come across as a librarian, soft spoken school girl. Further, she has yet to say "I'm sorry".

She needs to be zaaaapppppppppped!

True......he's planting lots of seeds in the jurors heads.

Over the right side of right eyebrow going downward to his left cheek. I think the ME autopsy is on the first page of this thread.

That bothers me too. If the bullet is going in at a downward angle, wouldn't that mean she was standing over him, proving she wasn't in danger because he was on the ground? Or did it happen to just exit that way?

I have a "feeling" that the technical difficulties are going to spell the end of testimony today....

HE CHARGED her. Like a LINEBACKER.... That's why the bullet went in above the eyebrow and landed in the opposite cheek.

I agree... anyone should be able to see, it was NOT a self defense issue.

I do believe she had to be standing over him. If she shot him head on the bullet would have exited else where. I hope he gets around to asking her about that.

It is the State's belief that JA first stabbed, then slit Travis' throat, then shot him last?

She says he was charging her.

YW.

Fits her story well and fits the self defense theory too, but that's only my opinion which, of course, differs from everyone in this thread. :rotfl:

I'm still waiting for Martinez to prove premeditation.

The State covered both bases, the ME testimony was he was shot last while the charging documents say the State presented evidence Travis was shot first.

Ugh, please no. Why can't that courtroom get their **** together? :confused3

Yeah, what a perfect explanation. Can't you just picture Nurmi's first conversation with her..."The bullet was coming from above...did Travis charge at you like a linebacker?" Jodi: "Um yeah...like a linebacker...yeah, that's the ticket!"

If you can find a replay of her acting out what he did, note that she makes sure to **** her head in the correct positioning that he would get shot and the bullet would travel to the cheek. Still think she's full of crap though.

I do believe parts of her story are true. I can imagine that she may have dropped the camera and Travis possibly yelled at her, but I don't think he "body slammed" her. He probably picked up his camera to look at it.

Is anybody else convinced that everything could happen in 62 seconds? Drop the camera, get yelled at, body slammed, roll away, run down the hall, run in closet, climb shelf, grab gun, exit closet, warn Travis and shoot? Being body slammed and "having the wind knocked out of me" would cause me to take a good 10 seconds or more to get up. Then again, I'm no super human.
