Jodi Arias Trial Part 3, STILL in redirect of Jodi, Mar 5

Quite possible some jurors believe the same as you, but from everything I'm hearing from commentators, my own opinion, and most people here, everything points to going there prepared to kill him. The fact that they ****ed and took pictures first only means just that. She may have planned to kill him "if he doesn't take me to Mexico, then..." or "if he doesn't take me back, then...". I also think that she was so obsessed with him, that she figured she'd have one last ****, and then kill him.

That's my same thought too, but unfortunately the State has the burden to prove it's case as charged and that's with premeditation to warrant the death penalty, still no concrete evidence of that at this time.

I wish Martinez would substantiate the State's position that she used the 3 gas cans to attempt getting to Travis' house covertly, but alas, no corroboration from WalMart as the State eluded to with that question to Jodi. Wonder if the jury thought they'd see some WalMart record today? Wonder if they're now wondering why they didn't see it?

My wife keeps saying they'll convict her and I agree, probably 2nd degree which is a loss to the State.

I don't remember. I don't remember. I presume, but I don't have memory.

Oh. my.

I keep waiting for Nurmi to jump up and say "I object...Frosted Lucky Charms they're Magically Delicious!"....poor wardrobe choice by the JA team.
Their outfits seem a little inappropriate, no?! This isn't a St Patrick's Day party! If Nurmi does a jig...:scared1:

If I am not mistaken the only thing she can be found guilty of is First Degree as that is all she is charged with. The mitigating factors such as premeditation will decide whether its DP or LWOP. So, if they think it doesn't fit the criteria it can be either a hung jury or not guilty. She walks.

That little thing they pass back forth to each other when at sidebar. Does that mean one is talking the other can't interrupt? I noticed before and kept forgetting to ask.

Kelly

AZ allows for lesser charges to be considered, thank goodness.

That is what I think. :furious: I thnk she will get off.
What is the max sentence for 2nd degree?

WHERE did you fill up with gas?

I don't remember.

Did you use a cc or a debit card?

I don't remember.

Whoops. She just said she didn't remember saying the gun was in a box.

Nurmi just said, "Objection. He can't testify for her." Why not Nurmi, you've been doing it the whole trial. :confused3

Wait a minute. She was planning on going on this camping trip after Travis was killed but then she also said that she was planning all along to commit suicide??

I never noticed! Usually I'm just listening, not watching. How crazy is it that I'm looking forward to a sidebar now so I can watch? Think there will be another one during this trial?

But the jury could very well believe the state's case and not believe the defense case, without the Walmart proof. They might find the purchase of the 5 gallons of gas on 6/6/08 to be enough proof, plus everything else, including circumstantial evidence.

She's getting awful *****y on the stand!
