Jodi Arias Trial Part 2, starting with JM cross of JA

We still have defense with their experts and then JM questioning them, and then there is rebuttal.

Right, someone mentioned that they hope JM's closing argument is a doozy. Just saying that Nurmi or his sidekick will get the last word....if we EVER get there ;)

JVM: she was STUNNED by the re-edited sex tape. She feels like this trial has almost gotten out of control. Is it the judge who's gotten out of control? Understands it's a death penalty case and you want to give her every chance to tell her story, she's been on the stand FOURTEEN days now, or is this the price you pay for mounting a death penalty case and perhaps that was a strategic error. But she feels like at this point we've gotten into a surreal state, to be debated on her show in TWO MINUTES.

This judge is out of line, I think she if forgetting who is on trial. But I think they have lost the jury. They don't need to hear more lies.

Re-listened to the end of today's testimony, and I could barely hear it but it sounded to me like Nurmi just said to the judge that it was "time" for today, as in ending today's court testimony. I'm sure he'll be back for at least another day.

And that doesn't even take into account that standing motion for mistrial based on Det Flores previous testimony (the probable cause for the charges filed) contradicting the ME's testimony in the trial. :headache:

She has been on the stand to long. I truly believe that Juan needs to recross.

I hope you are right. I just googled it earlier and am going off what I found. You would think since the state has the burden of proof that they would get the last word. So I hope I am wrong.

So who's running this show?

In most courts, the prosecution goes first followed by the defense, ending with the rebuttal from the prosecution. So JM should have the last word.

Someone said march 18th is when the jury gets the case? Two weeks from today! Would love an answer before march 30th!

Should be interesting who is on his call for rebuttal.

It's not who, but what. JM starts his closing statement.
Nurmi then gets to rebuttal JM's statements and provide his own closing statement.
JM then gets his chance to rebuttal Nurmi's closing statement and finish his closing statement.

Agreed. And you just know that if the prosecution tried to do something like this, the defense would be all over it calling for a mistrial and using it for an appeal because it would be prejudicial to the client.

I'm sure they won't allow it, but JM should make his own take to play. It would be just as interesting as the defense's tape. :scared:

I expect and HOPE that JM's closing statement is a doozy!

Counting on it...
