So lots of speculation over the delay....one commentator said Jodi needs time to compose herself over the embarrassment of testifying in front of her family....Here's a thought if the family being there is a problem for her, then the family should leave. The court is being delayed over an issue easily handled. If this is true it really bugs me that they would be so accommodating to her.

And she would go any later than 430 this afternoon either.

Judge Perry had FULL days during the other witches trial.

And some Saturdays! And MAYBE even a Sunday? I wish Judge Perry was there...he'd do it right (or at least more to my liking...like I said, "right". )

maybe it's just me.....but I find it super "ick" that Jodi's family has decided to show up now when she's testifying about all this sexual stuff and when they're going to play the phone sex tape. Ick, ick, double ick. I get showing support but I'd want to be OUT of that courtroom for that topic when it comes to my daughter or any family member.

Today Jodi did look angry, she must not have gotten her way on something.

I totally miss Judge Perry, all day every day and on Saturdays to get it done on time. Arizona drags these things out forever. Just think....Travis was killed around the same time as Caylee back in 2008, it took this long to get to trial. ridiculous.

Her attorney's did not look very happy either. She should have already been warned about the testifying on the stand, how everything would come out in the open and her family along with the rest of us was going to hear it.

Can JA stop testifying when she wants to? Can she say that she is too upset to talk about the murder? Basically, drag Travis' name through the mud and then stop talking before she explains about the murder.

I'm watching In Session on Court TV and it was said "A close friend of Jodi has expressed that Jodi is 'a mess' and that may be why they're delaying the trial"...and when they said that she was a mess, somebody in the background made an "awwwwwwww" sound. Hahah too funny.

I vote to bring Perry in to replace this judge. Your right it is close to poor Caylee's murder. I was thinking the same thing , she did not get her way and is upset.

I've been gone all day, darn school volunteering committments. Has JA taken the stand at all today? My guess is no since what they are showing on HLN right now has JA in the same sweater she had on yesterday.

And to the question about JA quitting her testimony. I wouldn't think she can do that because they'd have to declare a mistrial. The case can't go the jury without allowing the prosecution to cross. I guess she could sit there and refuse to answer anymore questions and I don't know what happens from there. Again, I would assume a mistrial.

Wouldn't a mistrial or a hung jury result in a new trial?
