I've been gone all day, darn school volunteering committments. Has JA taken the stand at all today? My guess is no since what they are showing on HLN right now has JA in the same sweater she had on yesterday.

And to the question about JA quitting her testimony. I wouldn't think she can do that because they'd have to declare a mistrial. The case can't go the jury without allowing the prosecution to cross. I guess she could sit there and refuse to answer anymore questions and I don't know what happens from there. Again, I would assume a mistrial.

No, she hasn't been on the stand at all. They came in nearly 40 minutes late, said there was an issue they had to deal with, and immediately dismissed the jury for lunch.

Wouldn't a mistrial or a hung jury result in a new trial?

If either came, the prosecutor would do a retrial.

I really hate how JA (just like CA) can throw around accustions of abuse, pedophilia, etc when the person being accused isn't alive to defend himself nor does their appear to be ANY evidence whatsoever of any of it. It just seems wrong to me because it's a he said she said, but he can't say. And it seems odd to me that JA never told another soul about any of it, nor does anyone from TA's family, friends, ex-girlfriends ever hint to even wondering if any of this craziness was going on with him. It's scary to think that any person on trial can just throw out whatever crazy theories and accusations they want to just to save their own tail.

They were discussing the audio recording (ie: sex tape) and its admission - that's what the delay was all about. The judge is telling the gallery now that they shouldn't react whatsoever to what is on the tape.

I am sure by the prosecution allowing this to be played this could back fire on the defense. The line of questioning could really bring out a lot of truth and the questions involved.

Travis' family had the opportunity to listen to the recording and they said they want it played and would stay. Based on that, I'd think that it is going go against Jodi. I'm anxious to hear the voice of Travis, but also so very nervous to hear the recording!
