These are the letters the defense wants to introduce but they've been determined to be forgeries since they couldn't be tested because they were copies, not originals. These surfaced when Jodi was representing herself back in 2010 or 2011. Supposedly according to The National Enquirer, Jodi's mom tried to sell them for publication.

Like Mare said, this trial is a soap opera.

This is what I heard about these letters, that Jodie had them but she didn't have the originals only copies and the defense wanted them in to prove the abuse. Because they were copies they could not be authenticated so they were not allowed in as evidence.

Nurmi sent one of the letters to Skye Hughes and told her that it was proven to be 100% Travis' handwriting. So at first she thanked him and freaked out that TA had pulled the wool over their eyes. But after looking at the letters and doing some research they knew the letters were not written by TA.

Thats why Chris Hughes told Searcy Nurmi was a slimy liar not to be trusted.

Jodie had someone write the letters I'm sure. Her mother tried to sell them to The Enquirer when the trial first started.
