Job Search Update

So I just got a message from a temp agency and I have an appointment with them on Wednesday. Woohoo!!! Maybe I'll start earning some money. It's all very exciting!!!!

I have an update as well. DH went for his physical yesterday and failed the nerve test on his right hand. He wouldn't have been able to handle the repetative type working they wanted him to do. The HR manager said he would keep him on file and if anything came up that he could use him, he'd let him know. Needless to say DH was not a happy camper after this. He called the temp agency and left a message asking if anything else was available. 3 weeks on my salary is killing us.
Meanwhile, no return calls from the temp agency (apparantly she tried but must have misdialed), so DH applied elsewhere today, figuring he'd missed a great opportunity. When he returned the agency called and said that the company who gave him the physical in fact had another position. It's a 3rd shift job, great for this night-owl, and good because we can each have the car to communte (we only have the one and a 3-11 shift for him would have been a problem). He starts orientation Monday.

Good luck to the people who are still looking and congrats to the people who finally got a job My husband and I both work and we still can't make ends meet. I am a day care teacher and get paid losey for all the work I do. So I need a new or second job.
