Thanks for the posotive thoughts on the weather!!! I am keeping everything crossed!!!!

I think we're going to use mostly Disney music ... I was listening to samples on Christine's site and started crying at "When You Wish Upon a Star" so that's the one ds and I are walking in to. We'll have a few Disney love songs played before the ceremony as well as during the cake cutting, and for our recessional I think we're going with the one non-Disney tune of the day: "Bubbly" by Colbie Callait. It was my first choice for a recessional, and I was thrilled to see that Christine has it listed on her website!

I'll bet you end up buying it! i have a few brooches from this seller and the quality is very good. I showed them to my boss and she thought I had paid Butler and Wilson prices! I'm thinking of buying a few more and attempting to make a side tiara.

This is Kasper....aka Theresa Miller. I am the mother of the bride that lives in Japan. I have finally been able to read all of your journal and listen to the podcast...by the way you did a fabulous job. It is so full of wonderful information and has helped me tremendously. I received an initial e-mail from Karen and am waiting for her next reply. I just don't see any reason why we won't go this route unless our dates aren't available.
I wanted to tell you how excited I am for you and how I will be thinking of you and sending you wishes for a fabulous VR and holiday. If I were closer to FL I would be one of those people crashing your day to see it come to life. I know your planning will pay off and everything will work out wonderfully.
I will anxiously be checking this thread to see pictures and hear about all of it.
I am sure I will still have dozens of questions for you.

Amy sweetie - Your music sounds great!!! The reason that I am having the Disney music played at the cake/champagne reception is so that I can listen to it properly!!! Obviously, the music played while the guests arrive, I won't hear, so I wanted to ensure that the Disney stuff was played afterwards!!!

Claire sweetie - I think I have decided against it!! On reflection, I am not sure how it will look with my dress - difficult to imagine from just a picture on the computer. Also, the seller could not be ABSOLUTELY sure it would get here in time (although he/she said it probably would). I will, however, be looking to this seller for beautiful jewellery if I need it in the future!!!! That swan set is stunning and I am flattered that you thought of me. Thank you so much!!!

Sweet Theresa - It is so lovely to hear from you again!!! How are things going for your daughter in Japan. Thank you for your lovely post!!! I am so glad that my PJ and podcast have been of some help to you. Karen is an angel, and I am sure you will love working with her if your plans for a wedding at the Swan come to fruition!!
I have a lot of DISfriends who are good enough to say they are looking forward to hearing all about our big day. EEK I hope we don't disappoint!!!

I am feeling very excited and yes, a little anxious. It is a very heady and wonderful mixture. I intend to savour every moment of the next 4 weeks and cultivate some lovely memories.

was it easy to plan a vr? we got married in disney in 2008 but alot couldnt come with us so plan to do a vr in 2013 but no info on the wedding site?

Hi, how lovely to hear from you!! I read your TR and you had a beautiful wedding and your sweet twins are getting so big now!!!
I have had little to no hassle planning my VR since I swapped from DFTW to having a S/D VR. I was getting increasingly frustrated by the numerous rules and regulations imposed on brides, particularly those having a small celebration (although this has been addressed somewhat by the introduction of the 'Memories' collection) and the lack of communication with sales assisstants and planners. Since swapping to S/D and thus working with Karen from JustMarry, I have had no such worries and my planning has been largely stress-free.
I am sure you know, but DFTW does not distinguish between weddings and VRs and so the rules, minimums and packages you see on the website apply to both.

For the past week or so I have been anxiously looking to see updates from you. I then rememberd that you are not me and have made most of your decisions already, even your wedding dress is ready to go. I on the other hand continue to struggle with getting everything done. I am getting very excited for your VR. I continue to wish for bright Florida sunshine on your day.

Dearest James - I am more or less sorted (I think!!!). Today I have been e-mailing vendors with contact numbers etc and everything seems to be vaguely on track!!!
I still have a few DIY things to finish eg Order of Service programmes and labels for favours etc. Some of these things cannot be finally finished until we are in Florida, and I can see me spending the two full days we have there before the VR, frantically putting everything together!!!
You seem to be well on the way to being organized too. Good luck with all the last minute stuff!!!
The one thing we cannot plan is the weather and my greatest fear is that it will rain on the day. I realize I can do nothing about it but I still worry about it!!!
