Joanne,1 month away!!! going crazy yet sooo excited! Just signed on to say Hello to you and send some love. No shoes for DD as of today but worst yet still no dress for me!
Just found your PJ tonight and read the entire thing!! I've been searching the PJs for dessert parties but your story caught my attention in the very beginning and I ended up reading all the way through. You and your husband are very lucky to have found each other.
I love your dress!!!!
We are having a dessert party for my son's graduation at UK Pubside and will be just next to James & Jeffrey's dessert party on 5-10-11. We'll be staying at YC and I noticed you are eating at Captain's Grill that day. We'll be eating in Epcot but if you hear some weird lady yelling hello if we happen to see you, just smile and wave and realize that you are somewhat of a bridal celebrity by now!!!![]()
YCFAN - Hi!!! Your post really made my day!!! It's good to know that people are still willing to read my ramblings!!! Thank you for your kind comments about my dress!!! I love it.
I have been invited to attend James and Jeffery's dessert party so maybe I can give you a shout!!! Congratulations on your son's graduation!!! Is that from school or college? Here in the UK we don't have high school graduations - just graduations from university or college. My DD gratuated in June of 2009 form the University of Surrey and my DS will graduate from the University of Aberystwyth (Wales) in August. It is a proud moment!!! I hope you have a great celebration. If you are around on our big day or in any of the parks when we are there (I will probably post my schedule in my PJ this week), please give us a shout - I would love to meet you!!!!
Dearest James - Thank you so much!!
Michelle sweetie - Yay!!! You are nearer than me!!! How are you holding out?
The combination of nervousness and excitement is a pretty heady mixture isn't it? Good luck with the final week's preparations!!!
We have a beautiful hotel booked at Manchester airport on Saturday 30th April and will have a lovely dinner there before trying to get some sleep, which will probably be impossible for me!! DH will sleep no matter what!! DH and I have the room to ourselves that night (the rest of the trip we will be sharing DVC villas/hotel rooms with other family members), so we are having champagne and chocolates together once we are alone!!
Our flight leaves at 11.00am and as it's a transatlantic flight we have to check in 3 hours before so need to be at check in at 8.00 am at the latest.
After a 10 hour flight we should arrive at MCO at about 4.00pm local time on the 1st May.
My intention is to have everything packed and ready to go by the end of Thursday (28th April) so that I can spend the Friday watching the royal wedding.
Hi Joanne! I'm at the "excited/nervous" stage since I'm in the midst of packing and wrapping up stuff at work. I took today (Thursday) off to pack and do some errands, plus hubby has a cardiologist appointment this morning. I've made lists and am praying that I won't forget anything (that I can't purchase while at Disney). I've packed the "re-wedding" stuff already, now all I have to do is pack the rest AND pack up the car. We leave Saturday and should arrive on Sunday.
So you'll be all packed for my birthday!I hope they will televise the royal wedding here in the United States - I plan on taking the 29th off - and will watch it if it's on TV.
Good luck with everything!
I haven't been around much lately, but I still can't believe that your VR is less than a month away! You must be so excited!!
Joanne I'm doing abecause you are at the 3 week mark!!!!
I can't wait to meet you and yes I am also hoping to make it to James' ceremony too. We've got to figure out what to wear so we stand out from the rest of the onlookers.
I'll PM you my cell phone number once you hit the 1 week mark so you can have it (1) in case of an emergency because its always good to have a contact/someone you know (2) so we can meet up.![]()
Oh yay Crissy!!! I can't wait to meet you!!! I am so glad you will be around at James and Jeffery's big day!! Perhaps we can stop off for a coffee at the Boardwalk Bakery after we have sticky beaked the ceremony, and really have a good chat!!
I have told my planner that we may have a local friend joining us for our ceremony and she is cool with that!! Come along and have some cake!!
I hope you both can make it. Plus with extras at the ceremony it will be even more fun. I hope you can make it in at the Bakery at the Boardwalk. When we went for our planning session the line was out the door. You could not even touch the place. This was a Friday so I hope during the middle of the week it will be slower. We still want to try the bakery someday. I can't wait. I am so looking forward to seeing your ceremony on the boards. Are you plannning on posting teasers or are you going to wait until you return home?
Joanne, I really like your music choices. It's very sweet of you to honor your husband with his choices ... that will make the VR even more special I think!
We're having Christine too and I'm so excited to have a harpist!
And listen, you are going to have BEAUTIFUL weather. There is just no other option, so we're just going to think positively and make it a self-fulfilling prophecy!![]()
