That was one of the reasons but there were others. I have no reason to think that it will change this years.
The tables are regular height and have chairs.

We had seats last November--good thing as the cocktails were strong and plentiful.

Can anyone clarify - Are the tables and chairs provided for just the party (eating/drinking) or do you have seating for the show too?

Can anyone clarify - Are the tables and chairs provided for just the party (eating/drinking) or do you have seating for the show too?

The tables and chairs are just for eating and drinking at the party. The viewing area has no seats, though you *could* sit on the ground (concrete) if you wanted, or if you get to the very back (which is actually the best place, IMO), you can lean on a railing. But most people stand up for the show anyway (hint, if you're in the back, there is a curb/ledge that you can stand up on that makes you a good deal taller than the people in front of you. It kind of stinks for the non-party guests behind you but you paid $80 a head for a prime view, so....)
