We are heading to Disney over Xmas 12/24-12/30 and was hoping someone could tell me if we need a FP for Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam at HS, or if we need FP's for any of the fireworks shows at the MK. Thank you

There are no FP for fireworks anywhere, not at MK and not at HS

I recently went to the Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam it is was amazing. My family felt it was worth the extra cash to view the show with the "special" glasses and to enjoy the deserts. After the deserts and before the show, the CMs move you to a roped off section of HS in front of the Chinese theater so the view was very nice. There were others present but we enjoyed the show very much from our area.

The dessert party is a great way to experience the show. It is sold out for the season though. A couple ahead of us at check had gotten in line to see what was going on and they were told it was sold out for the season. A quick look at the posters dates showed no availability when I checked. I suppose someone could get lucky if their is a cancellation. It is still worth checking out the show though, it is a fun little show. I was dazzled by the lasers!

That's true. It is technically sold out, however, if you really want to attend and it's a small enough group, you may be able to get a Rez the day of the party.

First, stop in at DHS Guest Relations and check. You may or may not strike out there.

If you do, go to the GMR party venue about three hours before the JBJB show while party set-up is going on and find one of the five red vested JBJB party CMs. It has to be one of those CMs because they are specifically told if walk-ups are available for that night. If they are being taken, a leader will book it right there. What are your chances? Slim, but possible.

If you're told that walk-ups are not available, but you really, really want to attend, don't give up. Politely, and while flashing your best puppy dog eyes, schmooze the CM. If you have little ones, have them use their sad eyes too. CMs are suckers for that kind of thing. Well, at least one I know is. They can and do overbook it.

Good tip.

What is Jingle Bell Jingle Bam? We are heading to WDW next Thanksgiving week and I hope they are planning this for next year too

Just keep your expectations low and you'll come out very happy.

The snow effect on the streets in Hollywood studio I think might be better than magic kingdom I felt like I was in a blizzard on the way out

Is this your first trip? This is the busiest week of the yr. and you will need to find a spot for these shows early to get a good view. There is also a great projection show on the castle, Once Upon a Time, which you should try and see, as well as the Castle Lighting for the nt. which is cool. There is a Wishes dessert party in MK that has a reserved section to watch, if you want to pay extra. Not sure if there are any reservations available, but you could keep checking between now and then if interested.
