I wonder if I got in on a glitch or something. But yes, the "8:00" button popped up for 12/31 at about 9:12am and I clicked it, logged in, paid and received confirmation via e-mail and on my MDE account. But it's probably worth calling or at least checking back constantly.

Does anyone have experience with timing once the dates are blue to when booking will be available? Also, will booking online open the same time or will they take call reservations before online is available?

sorry, did not mean to offend. but if all you are looking for is "it's open" you will probably get a hundred more posts of people who are reporting that it's not open yet, hoping that it's open, asking if it's open, complaining it's not yet. which is fun to follow on the website when something exciting is about to happen, but maybe not so much fun to wade through in 100 emails

haha I am not telling people not to chatter. I am a first class chatterer myself. just warning someone that if they get email alerts they will have to wade through it in a less than ideal way to find the info they are looking for! it is easy to scroll through on the website!

Its no longer telling me that no tables are available, but it is now saying "We were unable to check for available tables at this time". Something has changed.

that happens to me when i need to refresh page or log in and log out.

Same here: "no tables available" for any of my 12 days. So still waiting that it's available to book, but I'm hoping that they add the second F!-showings at the same moment - just make it easier to plan exactly which day, to choose. Heading for 12/16 (my first evening) but have actually a FP for F!, but slightly prefer the possible second showing to join the Dessert Party before

So as of right now there is only 1 F! at 7. So looks like it won't be an option to do F! and the dessert party in the same night. Dang, I really was hoping we could do it all the same day. I guess we will have to cut our AK night short, since we have ADRs at MK and candlelight at Epcot on the other nights. I'm hesitant to book a dessert party on AK night just in case ROL is out... decisions, decisions... what would you guys do?
