Jingle Bell Jingle Bam Dessert Party 2017

Does this include seats for the party? I see in the description it does but reading reviews of last year's party it seemed some where standing cocktail tables.

last year they had both high tables and regular tables with seating, there are a lot of youtube videos out there of the party

Unlikely anyone will know the answer to this but want to throw it out there before I decide to buy tix to this or not....

How much time will there be between the two "shows"?

Hours are posted, so it is known. Excluding NYE, it's either 2-1/2 hrs or 3-1/2 hrs depending on the date.

Probably didn't phrase my question very well...

Night we're looking to go, JBJB Desert party starts at 6:15. JBJB show starts at 8:00. Can't seem to find a start time for Movie Magic show on that night. Looking at Disney page, no times listed for Movie Magic after 9/2 (before that it's 8:40 so wasn't sure if they are going to change that start time based on JBJB being at 8)

The date I am wanting to attend the JBJB dessert party has a 6:30 time spot. I was thinking the dessert party was an hour before the show, but I keep seeing post that say the show starts at 8:00. Can someone tell me what time the dessert party & shows will end? The ONLY time I was able to get a reservation for Sci-Fi restaurant was 8:25, but now I fear we will miss the JBJB show. Which, I am still confused about my 8:25 reservation, since Disney's hours show Hollywood Studios to close at 8pm that night.

Thank you! Looks like a VERY tight time frame for me, lol!

Remember that there's a 15min grace period on reservations so you may still be able to make it by 8:40.

Thanks! I looked up last year's party and I see what you mean. I was just confused because the fine print on the Disney site is making me wonder if they are switching it to seating like the new Illuminations party.

Banquet-style seating will be available and Guests may be placed with other parties.

Clarification, last year's party began with a mix of high and standard height tables, however there were issues with that setup and by about the 3rd party it was changed to standard height tables with a few high tables as spares. IIRC, the standard tables are slightly larger than the tables at the FEA party at Epcot. Most reviews are of the first or second parties and show the high and standard height tables. Also, last year's seating was not pre-assigned, this year it will be.

Thank you! I was having trouble finding reviews that weren't of the first party last year. I am glad to hear it is pre-assigned seating.

Oh! That's very nice about the pre-assigned seating. I was worried about having to line up early to make sure we got a seat. How did you find this out? Can you point me to where it says that?

I believe @FastPasser works for Disney in the special events department that puts these events on from previous posts I've seen.

And that was the biggest problem last year. It was learned early on that not having pre-assigned seating was kind of a nightmare at check-in. People arrived way too early in order to get a table with chairs. It was quickly changed to where all tables had seating. The preassigned seating is a welcome change this year.
Can you point me to where it says that?
From MDE:
"Banquet-style seating will be available and Guests may be placed with other parties."
