I'm looking for opinions from those who have done the wine tasting at Jiko recently.
Did you enjoy it?
How long did it last?
What was the cost?

Thank you.

I did the Jiko wine tasting last Spring, on a solo trip. I enjoyed it a lot! The sommelier was both knowledgeable and friendly, very approachable. It's limited to maybe 8-10 people, so lots of discussion. There were several couples, a mother-daughter pair, and another solo woman. We tasted 4 wines, with accompaniments that suited each wine. It was a unique opportunity vs other wine tastings, as Jiko specializes in South African wines; they have wines there that you can't get anywhere else in the US. The whole experience was scheduled to be 2 hours, but we ran a little bit over. I will do it again.

I don't recall cost, but I'm sure it's available online somewhere...

I'm doing it Solo in September. Cost was $30 if I remember correctly. I'm very much looking forward to it.

Were you able to reserve it on line or did you have to call to reserve this. I have been trying for a while to reserve and always says no tables available.

We booked it for this August and was able to do it online, I also think it is only on Wednesdays.....

I think it fills up quickly because it's only one day a week and is limited to like 12 or so people?

Honestly my next trip encompasses two Wednesdays to insure we have a decent chance of getting a seating. Assuming it's still running next year (I can't see them discontinuing it, but you never know with Disney)

I did it online at 180 days. I had tried for the same week last year for four months prior to my trip and a spot never opened up.

Good luck!

I booked this for October and can’t wait. I also booked online at ~ 180 days. My date appears to be sold out now. I think they do go quickly. I found this review from easywdw to be very helpful.

Thanks for the review. Sounds like fun and well done. We have talked about doing this, but has not worked into the schedule. Hopefully next spring.
