Jiko pronunciation?

So how exactly should one pronounce 'Jiko', at AKL?

I pronounce it Ji-ko, with 'ji' rhyming with 'eye' and the 'ko' rhyming with 'toe'. But is that right?

I just don't want to sound like an idiot when I tell them at the gate where I have reservations (though I'm sure they've heard every pronunciation under the sun).

PP's are right. It's G-ko (ko rhyming with toe)

It's how we always pronounced it, but I double checked with a few pronunciation guides online to verify that it's right before answering.

I thought this was just a Brooklyn thing...I hear it here all the time! Let's se if there is a good sale at Old Navy's and Structure's...then we can eat at Peter Luger's.

Oh by the way, if you do decide to go to Jiko's, remember you could always to to the Mara's to get some zebra domes if you miss them from Boma's.
