Jiko for 2 credits or Sanaa for 1 credit?

Sanaa is on the level of Apple Bees in terms of service/food. It's good, but nothing amazing. Jiko is like dining at your local finest steak house. Last time I visited Jiko, I think we were there about 2-2.5 hours after all was said and done. There were not any kids cry, nor servers trying to hurry us out. It was a relaxed, romantically lite, enjoying dining experience.

Jiko wins hands down.

All the signature's don't ever rush u. that's what makes them signature besides other reasons.

Sanaa is no applebee's! The food there i feel is consistent and real good. one of the best places for one credit in WDW i think.

There can be crying kids in any restaurant. we take our little girl (13 months first time and 19 months last time) to all sign restaurants and she had her good and bad moments. jiko was one of those bad moments and i don't think anyone minded. kids are kids. especially young kids. we take her out every weekend with us to nicer places so she is used to it to some degree.

We used 2 credits in Jiko for an anniversary meal. While we enjoyed the experience we found that we spent a lot more over and above our credits than usual. The wine was very expensive, we had appetisers as it was a special meal and the tip was therefore very expensive. The extra costs has put me off signature dining.

First off, I think both are very good restaurants.

Jiko wins on romantic atmosphere and for the incredible selection of South African wines, at least one of which is only available at Jiko. I found the food there to be very good as well.

Sanaa is the one TS restaurant at WDW that I would choose over some signature restaurants. They seem to buck the trend of taking food to the lowest common denominator. They actually added entrees that were MORE spicy to the menu. Not a common Disney move. Also, you have animals right outside the windows. That is a unique touch.
