Jiko, Citrico's, or Narcoossee's?

Never been to Jiko or Citrico's, but we've always loved Narcoossee's.

Any suggestions?

We have been to all 3 and next week we are going back to Jiko as it is a really fantastic restaurant. We totally loved it.

We've been to all three. The last time we weren't as happy with Citricos as we have been, so we are going to Narcoossee's and Jiko. Citricos is more similar to Narcoossee's (food-wise) while Jiko is different. Check out the menus I would say... if you want to verture out, try Jiko!

I have to admit, we're leaning that way as I spent some time in a couple of African countries and really enjoyed the food there, so I'd liek to see how Jiko compares.

After your dinner at Jiko, you can head out behind the AKL pool and check out the animals with night vision goggles.

I think Jiko's appetizers are some of the best at any Disney restaurant but overall, we probably prefer Citricos. Narcoosees would be quite a ways down my list in comparison. We've eaten at all of these several times.

We had Narcoossees booked and changed it to Jiko because I kept reading such fabulous reviews about Jiko and such negative reviews abotu Narcoossees!

Why not do what I did for our next trip and book all three.
If you only go on vacation once a year why not go all out.

We have been to all three and have enjoyed all our meals at the three restaurants. One year I loved Narcoosee's so much we ate there 2x and on our last night we had Narcoosee's for room service (loved the crab cakes and Maine Lobster). I have enjoyed my dinner at Citricos but my husband likes Narcoosees food better (four times we went there he always get the specials but loved it). But if he gets to pick one for our trip he would pick Jiko but I would pick Citrico's or Narcoossee's. Good luck, all three restaurants are really good.

Narcoossee's- I go to every year.

Citricos- is one I am trying next month for the first time.

Jiko- not good and I didn't care for it whatsoever... way too overrated imo, I think the main reason I didn't like it is because it's so overrated here on the DIS, I was thouroughly disappointed. I liked the flatbread but I like California Grill so I can just get some there.

I'm not really sure where you heard all these negative reviews... usually threads about Narcoossee's only yield just one, maybe two negative things about it out of 30 or so, I'd say that's pretty dang good.

My DW and I were at Jiko two days ago and was really impressed. It was a great quiet escape from the parks and a great meal.

Love Jiko and Citricos (my two favorie places at WDW); never been to Narcoosee's.

Jiko is wonderful -- the food is great, the ambiance is different than any other signature restaurant -- very cool place.

Narcossees - Did not like. Thought it was rather dull.

Citricos --- Never have been! It's one of our ADRs this year --- but I have heard amazing things about it, and would rank it high on your list of options.

I guess your choice could come down to ease of transportation - so I would say, whichever is easier to get to, Jiko or Citricos ... and go that route. I do not think you'd be dissapointed either way. Plus, check out the menus. That helps. The only thing about Jiko is - if you aren't staying at AKL, it's a great excuse to see a fantastic hotel -- and have a GREAT meal.

We are big fans of Citricos....... the food is always great, it's a beautiful place and the service is top-notch. We've tried Narcoosees twice, and were less than impressed overall. Looking forward to trying Jiko next trip.

im trying on jiko on my sept. trip. ive never been to either of the other rest. but am interested to be hearing everyones opinions on them!
