I will be staying at the AKL during our trip in December, and was wondering if it's O.K. to bring kids (ages 5 1/2 & 7) here or is it too upscale. My kids are not picky eaters & are pretty well behaved, but I don't want to bring them if kids are frowned upon. I really want to try Jiko's, but I don't want to eat by myself (It'll be just the kids & me on the trip). Thanks a bunch for any advise!

Take them and enjoy:D !

As long as your children aren't screaming monsters than yes;), bring them. My fiancee and I were there last week w/o kids. There were a few kids in the restaurant and we never noticed because they were well behaved. This is a not to be missed dining experience.

Thanks for the input! I really wanted to go here for dinner & now I feel more comfortable in bringing my kids. By the way, on there kids menu it lists "Jiko's Kid Puzzle", does anyone know what this is?
