Jif Peanut Butter Recall

Remember, the only jars affected are the ones where the first seven digits are between 1274425 and 2140425 AND end those seven digits with 425 are affected. Those are jars made at that specific factory in Kentucky. For example, our jar starts with 1323006. That jar is fine.

Honestly a better way to communicate this would be "only jars that start with 1274 to 2140, followed by 425"

I looked on the Jif website and my jars were listed.

One of our two jars of Jif was on the discard list. I threw it away but, it was almost empty so I guess we're fine.

We eat a lot of peanut butter in this house and had a two pack we had already eaten half way through. We didn't have any effect but through the remaining one out to be safe.
