Can anyone comment on this airline? I don't know much about it want to make sure it is not going to go out of business after buying tickets...

Any stories or experiences would be welcome here.

My husband and I only fly JetBlue. For work and pleasure. And we have a JetBlue American Express card so that we build up extra points.

I think their customer service cannot be beat.

For our January trip to WDW, I booked tickets back in Sept when prices were high. As the prices fell, they gave us credits (not to the credit card, but dollar for dollar to use for future flights). That paid for my ticket to fly to CA this May to see Disneyland for the first time.

And between flights and the Amex, we had enough points for a free ticket, so that's how we "paid" for my husband's ticket to CA.

Basically nothing out of pocket to fly round trip Vermont to California.

As my flights have changed, they've called or emailed (even if the departure/arrival time only changed by 5 minutes). And when one change was getting us to CA an hour later, they let us book an earlier flight (even though we hadn't been able to get that originally because we were using an "award" ticket).

Nice big seats (said by a "pooh" sized person). A TV in the headrest of the seat in front of you where you can watch DirecTV or you can listen to XM radio - with your regular headphones. And in-air staff who are personable and positive.

Their business plan was also carefully crafted. So I think they're much more stable than many other airlines.

Just my (no so) humble opinion :)

Thanks, I needed some confirmation since I had never heard of the airline(I'm canadian) and fopund seats for 75 each way to disney from seattle...seems I have found my flight!

We used JetBlue about 8 years ago and really liked them. :thumbsup2 We don't fly very often so that's why we haven't used them since. I know that was awhile ago but I just wanted to chime in to let you know that they've been around for at least that long and didn't just start up a year ago or something.

Others like them...we don't. Had a bad experience with my videoscreen, had a bad experience with a flight attendant slamming hubby's seat up after knocking his hand away from the button, and had a bad experience with the employee when we checked our bags...

REmember they only go to LGB in the Anaheim area, and that has difficult transportation options.

PLus, they tend to have about the same fares as Southwest, Alaska, and Virgin America! Now...SW and JB have the nicest programs for if your fare drops...Alaska is good about that too but they have a time-frame for it...VA doesn't give credit at all if your fare drops, and I guess they just started charging for the FIRST bag (I'm a "fan" of them on FB and they announced it there, ugh), but for comfort and lovely surroundings they are my FAVE. While JB is my absolute last choice of those 4.

When is your trip? Alaska Airlines has $69 flights to Los Angeles from Bellingham airport right now until May, I think. And they have $59 flights out of Seatac to Los Angeles until June! We won't be going until October, but those $59 flights look so tempting.

Why am I not seeing LAX as an option??? I only see LGB!

Off to look again. We can look over three bad experiences on ONE roundtrip flight, maybe, for the right price, to see if it's OK.

Nope, I put in Seattle, I then see Las Vegas and Long Beach. No Los Angeles. What's going on?

And the flights for our May dates are 89 and 69, no 59. Harumph.

If it were possible I would only fly Jetblue but from San Jose they are only useful if I am flying to New York or Long Beach. I have never had a problem with them and having a TV at your seat is awesome.

We love JetBlue. I am a die hard Alaska Airlines girl, but LOVE JetBlue.

I have only had positive experiences. We have flown twice from Seattle to Long Beach and both trips were just great.

Also remember, if you book with them and the flights go down in price you can call and they will give you a credit to use on your next trip.

We are flying to Hawaii this summer and wish they flew there too!

Oh I totally forgot this. I saw the $59 fare posted under Los Angeles to Seattle, and I thought maybe it would be the same fare if I reversed directions, so I tried it and it worked! I don't know why it's not listed as Seattle to Los Angeles, but it DID work when I put in a sample trip from Seatac. Try that....hopefully it will work! :-)

When I read that Molly, it sounded like it was Alaska Airlines with the $59 fare.

I don't even see Los Angeles airport as an option, once Seattle is involved. Not even on the route map. It only shoes Long Beach. Am I doing something wrong? Transportation costs are so different with LAX vs LGB...

Oh ok. :)

Not getting 59 there, either. If I would just leave a day later both ways I would, but not on the dates I'm looking at in late May. :)

I have a whole Safari page with 4 tabs up...SW, JB, VA, and Alaska. Keep going back to them...

I don't think Jetblue flys to LAX. They generally fly only to smaller airports.

We LOVE Jet Blue, Virgin America, and Alaska Air!
