Jetblue/Worcester

Anybody else from Massachusetts planning on booking out of Wooster I read that it is only a four row plane and it will be more expensive than Boston

I have three flights out of Worcester booked!!! One in early Dec and two in January. I got all of them for less money than it would have cost me to fly out of either Boston or Providence!!! But I booked my flights as soon as they opened my dates for booking.

yes, they are rows of 4, two and two. That's okay with me since I'm either flying alone or with my husband.
I've flown out of Worc before. Parking is a breeze, and fairly cheap, compared with Boston. The gate area is small, with not a lot to choose from as far as snacks go. I would bring your own.

One of my issues with flying out of Worc is that JB offers only one flight a day, coming and going. That's better than DirectAir did though...they only offered a few flights each week!!!! And if there were to be an issue, and they couldn't land in Worc, they would probably head to Providence or Boston and bus you back to Worc.

Thanks for the response! I read if the demand at WOR is high they will change. Either way is fine with us to. I can see security being a breeze to since it's only 1 flight. Looking at flying home to
PVD or Boston though bc of the flight time. We want to leave much later.

I'm flying out of Worcester in Dec but into Green going home. Same reason.

JB did indicate they would move to larger aircraft into ORH if demand calls for it

The terminal is small even compared to BDL or PVD. Small can be good. The road into the airport is lame

I've already got a flight booked out of ORH too. Booked it as soon as they opened the schedule. $86 one way to FLL in Feb. I'm excited JB is flying out of ORH now. We normally fly out of PVD but ORH is closer to us. I'll only fly out of Logan if I have no other options. Hate flying out of there.

Goofy4tink - what is the parking situation there? I've never flown from ORH before. Is it on-site parking or off-site? For my Feb. trip DH will be dropping me off but parking info would be good to know for the future. TIA.

If I may, all parking at ORH is on site and right at the terminal

A long time ago, I flew into there and was able to drive out without having to pay because the booth was empty

Parking is really easy, and cheap! But, be aware. When you park, you need to walk up some stairs. It can be tedious if you have heavy bags. So, drop people and bags off curbside and then park the car. Much easier. But parking is a very short walk to the terminal.

Is there handicapped parking? My son uses a scooter.

I also booked out of worcester for april 2014! It was much cheaper than our usual bdl so we are very excited!!

Sadly we ended up booking out of Boston instead of Worcester which is my home City...but our flights coming home were crazy $$$$ because of Thanksgiving so it was cheaper from Logan. Logan has never been difficult to fly out of so I have no complaints but we did fly out of Worcester previously with Direct Air and it was so living a quick 15 minutes away and the very easy parking. Hoping that Jetblue stays for a lenthy time in Worcester and maybe on a non hoiday vacation it'll work!
