I love that 6:30 a.m. flight - we took it last year and booked it again for this October. A couple of months later they moved it to 8 a.m., which I can live with. But if they get rid of it and move us to that 11:30 it's really going to cut into our short weekend.

I know, I love getting into Epcot before World Showcase has even opened! Don't fret too much - October is a lot closer than December, and the flight is still there even in December...just not on our date (December 8th). It's there the 7th and the 9th...our bad luck making our long weekend a Thursday to Monday affair I guess!

Nala, that's too bad - I wonder if they would've done more for you if it was a longer difference. Also, as I noted, our flight was actually canceled as opposed to moved, so that may have played a role in their agreeing to change airports for us.

Thanks . My back-of-the-mind plan if the worst happens is to ask for a change to JFK. So far HPN has the early morning flights still daily in October but I'll now be checking often.

I'm surprised they took away your flight on a Thursday - would seem like a popular day for people doing long weekends.

Our Nov flight home from WDW was changed, but it worked out great for us. We were originally on a flight that left MCO at 3:00 and we had a stop in DC. JB changed the flight so that it was leaving MCO at 2:15. I called them to ask what their policy is when they change the flight time and they said I could pick another flight. I was able to get us on a nonstop flight leaving MCO at 3:30. Now we have more time with Mickey and we get home quicker on the nonstop flight.
