JetBlue prices

I've never flown JetBlue, and wondered about the history of their prices. Do they get higher as you get closer to the departure date? I have one DD flying down to WDW on Nov. 10th with her 5 DH and 5 kids. I have another DD flying down on Nov. 25th with her DH and 3 kids. I think they should book their flights now. I'm so used to SW where you can easily change your flights if a better price comes up. Please advise on jetBlue policies!

We fly Jetblue and their prices do increase as you approach departure day. However, a site called www.Yapta.com monitors airline prices and will notify you if the the price you paid goes lower. Jetblue will give credit towards a future flight. Jetblue is a great airline to fly. We fly with them whenever possible.

We have used JetBlue for 7 different flights. We have never had the prices come down after booking....they have always steadily increased until our departure date (and in some cases, increased by ALOT).

If prices do go down after your tickets are booked, they will credit you the difference to be used within a one year period. You just have to call and request to have the credit applied.

Like the PP, we are also big fans of Jeblue. The only other times we haven't flown them (AirTran once and Sunwing twice) we were very disappointed.

I bought JetBlue tickets in January for our June trip. Signed up at Yapta, and the price for our trip went down three times, but each time for less than one day! I managed to catch the dip each time, and for 3 tickets, I now have almost $250 credit!:cool1:
I LOVE yapta!:dance3:

Is that legal? :rotfl2:

I've been watching a JetBlue flight (not to Orlando) for end of June. It opened at $274 in December. Two days later it went down. In January it went down again. In February it was back where it started. It has been up and down since then. One day in April it was back where it started; several hours later it went up to $410! And it's gone up since then. The highest I've seen so far is $457.

If they need to fill the flight, I assume the price will drop closer to departure date. But by then the only seats left might be middle seats.
