I've been tracking a couple of flights from NYC (specifically LGA) to MCO on December 8th, and the price just plummeted this morning, so I bought the tickets. The price on the inbound flight, though, hasn't moved, so I'm waiting on that one.
I've only been tracking the fare for a little over a week, but here's what I was seeing:
LGA - MCO: $90 ... then $84 .... today $54.88!
The price with taxes was $69.60. So, for 2 people: $139.20.
The flight I booked, btw, is nearly completely empty.
Now I'm waiting for the price on the inbound flight to drop. It's currently $104, down from the $120 it was the day I started looking.
I've been checking JetBlue every day, but I specifically have Yapta to thank for this price alert.
