JetBlue Plus CC-free luggage?

I just got the JetBlue Plus CC that allows the cardholder and 3 others a free checked bag. It does not explain how to do this. When I am making my plane reservations do I just check off NO bags for anyone and then when I check in at the airport I get them for free? Thanks for any help.

I Googled and found this website: https://trueblue.jetblue.com/web/trueblue/trueblue-faqs

"All ticket purchases must be made with your JetBlue Plus Card, and the primary cardmember's TrueBlue member number must be entered at the time of booking. Applicable overweight and excess baggage fees apply."

So I'd try that.

I have the card as well, and I'm also a TrueBlue member. So, when I make my JB flight arrangements, it is already noted in the system that I have the card. I do have to have everyone on my reservation though. When I choose the fare I want, the cheapest one, it does allow me a free checked bag..automatically. Not sure how it works if you aren't a TrueBlue member though.

IIRC I called JB after I got the card and they "linked" it to my TrueBlue acct. I think there was a way of doing it in you TB acct online but for some reason I think I had an issue and had to call. After it's linked when you sign on to your JB account when you make a reservation it will automatically show a 1, instead of a 0, in the baggage area of the "Blue" fare.

First time I used the card it had shown the free bags for all of us, but it all of a sudden one day it disappeared. I called up and they said on their end it was showing the free bags and not to worry but I could always bring the card with me and show the card if need be. In the end there was no issue but it was reassuring to have them say showing the card would work.
